SLOW!
Multiple groups of lady golfers ahead of us. It sounds misogynistic, but the pace of play was the slowest I can ever recall in 40 years of golf. Almost quit mid round, but stayed just to see how long the round would take.
Same as it ever was.
Course is in its winter set up to allow for healing, repairs , and upgrades. Always fun, except for the leaves this time of year. I forgot my leaf blower for the greens.
Good greens
Three of us played this course and were all pleased. Fun holes with nice elevation changes and scenery. Greens were in good shape, rolling on the fast side the day we played. 1st hole fairway had massive ground under repair (mud) but the rest of the holes were fine. Bring GPS or rangefinder as yardage markers were not evident. Fun layout with 6 par 5’s and 6 par 3’s. We left noting to play this course again next time we head to the Smoky Mountains.
The course is up and down hills.
The greens were very fast and putting down hill was a problem. The course is not marked well for first time players.
Overall conditions
Another outstanding day. Weather was great, views are good, and overall condition was excellent. Greens are great and rolling excellent speed. It was very dry due to drought conditions but all was well taken care of. Definitely putting this course on my rotation. Price is awesome too.
Beautiful Day
Second time playing the course. Bent greens are different for a Fl boy. Hard to repair the damage caused by the incoming shots. Bunkers were not raked by players. As a course named Patriot…, military vets would appreciate a Vets rate. Recognize PGA Hope players,
This course is a great course, The only big downfall is they stack way too many people to close on tee times. Every time you play here add another hour on to your average time to play 18 holes. There is always 2-4 carts waiting at the tee box at the first hole. I wish they would take the time to either hold people to their tee times, or make tee times further apart.

Tee boxes are in horrible shape. Just dirt and weeds at the white tees.
Nice course
Course is not too difficult if you hit it fairly straight. Greens were not as fast as last time I played, but they rolled true. And they were soft. A little different than I am used to. Lack of rain made the course play shorter than normal. I do wish they had one more set of tees. White tees (6,000 yards) were a little short and back tees (6,700 yards) are a little long for me. But, I like the course and recommend it. An enjoyable day.
