Broken Arrow Golf Club - East/North

Great course, challenging. Well worth the trip especially when booked through golfnow.com.

Played the easier (at least for me) North and then the South 9. Pace was a bit slow as they had a huge high school tourney at least on the south and word from the started was they were on pace for 5 1/2 hour round. Course was in nice shape for being fall in northern illinois. Staff was great and friendly as always have never seen a surly employee there. Course can be difficult playing the back tees especially with wind gusts. The other guy I was playing with never draws the ball but this day four shots drew due to the wind. All in all a decent deal through golf now or when they run good specials.

I played in a Saturday afternoon. The course was in very good condition, and the pace was good. However the staff is seething to be desired. The kid in the pro shop wasn't welcoming at all. The staff seemed to be stuck on slow. No one seemed to want to sell you any beverages. I would figure that a well maintained golf course would want you to spend extra money. Just play golf there people, don't expect to find a welcoming staff though.

Nice course. Three nines give you some variety each time you play. Greens were aerated within the last few weeks so they were grown out and didn't roll out. However, based on past experience here, the greens normally roll pretty true and quick. Fairways/tees were in good shape. Layout isn't anything spectacular. Lots of straight holes with water hazards flanking one side of the hole. Not many mature trees so lots of room off the tee as long as you miss the water hazards. Sand bunkers were in excellent shape. Entire course is surrounded by housing. Not something that bothers me but some people don't seem to enjoy that. Overall, a solid course and an enjoyable round.

With some narrow fairways and many well placed bunkers, Broken Arrow proved to be a challenging course! Played the South and East course combo that provided some good looking and difficult holes. I would definitely try this course again!

Second time to play the course first time under five hours second time over five close to six. I am not one for target golf I like to give the ball a good ripe and hope for the best. But I enjoy both the length and the emphasis on some holes to make the right choice and lay up, in particular the par 5 eight hole on the South course.

Pace of play was brutal - longest round of the year - well over 5 hours

I believe Broken Arrow is one of the best values in the Chicago area. With 3 very different 9 hole courses, you get a different experience and challenge with each round. The course is well maintained and pace of play is great.

Broken Arrow always seems to be in great shape and the staff is always friendly.

The course was in good shape and the ground crew was great about stopping their work for golfers to play through. The pro shop staff, the starter, the rangers, the cart girl, and the bartenders were all friendly and accomodating. This was my first trip to Broken Arrow but it certainly won't be may last. They have a reasonably priced annual package that I'm giving strong consideration to. If it was 20 minutes closer to my home the check would already be in the mail.

I admit I am kind of a golf course snob. I really enjoy pristine conditions and will gladly pay for it.

Anyway, a friend of mine needed a last minute foursome and with a cost of $55 with cart on a Sunday I automatically assumed the course would be in bad shape.

I was pleasantly surprised! Challenging yet fair design with well maintained fairways and quick greens which I like. I played the North/East side and then ended up playing again in the afternoon South/North and they got us out with no problem.

Having 27 holes mixes things up and throw in multiple flag locations and it's one of a kind in the Chicago area.

Had a burger which was very good but thought the onion rings were outstanding! This course is really a hidden gem for the $$

Course was in great shape, greens speed was moderate, fairways in great shape, tee boxes were fine. Pace of play was perfect, ranger found us a good spot among foursomes.

Monday afternoon at 1:30 and were finished in 3 hrs! greens are very difficult with lots of undulation and thick rough just off the putting surface. conditions overall were very good and well worth the $40 golfnow rate.

Well designed course in good condition. Especially like the dual flag options on the North nine. If I had the time, would have replayed that nine on the different flagsticks.

THE EAST COURSE (9 HOLES) WAS IN REAL GOOD SHAPE, WHILE THE SOUTH COURSE FIRWAYS NEED SOM ATTENTION. THE GREENS WERE ALL IN GOOD SHAPE ALTHOUGH THE PLAYERS NEED TO FIX THEIR BALLMARKS. I WOLD DEFINITELY PLAY HERE IN THE FUTURE. PS GREENS AR FAST

Paid Under $30 On A Friday After 4:00. I Was Impressed.

Good layout, some challenging holes, good pace of play.

Like this course. In great shape. Greens were firm and quick.

The only thing i didnt like was the two greens, gps on cart and handheld all messed up because of two flags, Otherwise I would definitely golf there again

Very nice design, great condition, well placed hazards. Good $30 value.
