Broken Arrow Golf Club - East/North
About
There are 27 holes of golf available at Broken Arrow Golf Club, which are broken down into the East, North, and South nines. They are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The East/North Course begins with the most challenging nine of the three. Sloped fairways, hidden water, and strategically placed bunkers make good course management essential. The back nine is considered the most scenic but it boasts another distinction. It is the only course with a dual-green concept in the Midwest, meaning that golfers have the choice of playing to either of the two flags on each hole. It was designed to give players control over the difficulty of the golf course. There are also 30 bunkers and mature trees that come into play on the back nine.

great course...great price...we expected slow play on Fathers Day..no prob...Great Day with Pops!!
Rough rough...fringy fringes...sandy sand...slow greens
Nice mid-range course
This course is actually made up of 3 9-hole courses so with the combinations it is a little different every time. Course is solidly maintained with good sized fairways and not a lot of hazards. Pace of play was 4.5 hours on Father's Day, which is pretty reasonable. Carts have GPS, but on the whole, club doesn't have a whole lot of amenities. Nice price for the course and not difficult to get a tee time.
Always a good round
Really enjoy this course ... very playable but also a legit challenege for the low handicap player looking for good scores. Course is in great shape with all the recent rain. Play this track a few times every season
Great value for the money - 3 different course combinations with 27 holes
More challenging that the rating dictates in my opinion. Nice conditions and freindly/helpful staff. GM Michael Chen was a pleasure to deal with and got us some great rates for a company outing.
Great layout
Course was in great shape even after all the rain we have been having. The staff was very courteous. Nice track, challenging.
A little wet but considering recent rains course in great shape
Course was in great shape considering all the recent rain we've had. The rough was just that... very rough to get out of. I'm sure that will be cut down a bit as summer goes along but greens and fairways were in great shape. For the price we paid on golf now I would play this everyday!
Hidden Gem
Broken Arrow gives you all the game you could want. Great driving holes, plenty of water and bunkers and challenging greens. After several days of heavy rain the rough could give US Open courses a run for the money, but it was a great place to play. For the GolfNow rates you will not find a better value in Illinois.
Nice course
Staff friendly ,challenging course, layout of course is unique. Food at turn ok. Never saw beer girl on back nine.
Great course but was rushed.
Love the course but as a group of four was rushed by the starter with two twosome following us. As we started the back 9 we were told to speed it up. We're very conscientious about play hold up but come on guys you should have combined the two twosomes together.
Tee boxes need attention. Lots of weeds and ball washers were all empty.
Course was in need of attention. Narrow fairways, and on South course, 2 flags per green.
Not bad to play for fun or practice, but could use some sprucing up.
NOT a good experience.
I am attaching an email I sent to the General Manager, the Director of Golf, and the course Superintendent after a recent round at Broken Arrow as my review. I delayed posting this because I wanted to give them time to respond but not one of the above contacted me.
I am writing this to let you know what our experience was like at Broken Arrow yesterday.
Earlier this week I called and arranged a tee time for Wednesday, May 1st, at 11:24. When we checked in at about 11:10 we were told that our reservation was for 7:00am and we were shown as "no shows" on the sheet but they could "squeeze us in".
We were directed to the East course where there were already three foursomes on the first tee and there was a lot of confusion as to who would play where and when. The starter then directed us to the North course and told us we would play North to East.
The condition of the course, especially the North, was the worse I have seen in several years of playing there. The tees were overgrown with weeds and the traps were in horrible shape, basically unraked craters. To make matters worse, play was agonizingly slow. After the third hole, we had to wait on just about every shot. I called the clubhouse and was told that a ranger would be right out, but I later learned that there were no rangers but for the starter. We completed our round in just under five hours.
After we finished, I asked the starter what the problem was and he said, "we had a group of 30 show up that we thought were coming tomorrow and they all play five hour rounds."
The weather was beautiful but the terrible course conditions and the unbelievably slow pace of play made for a frustrating and aggravating experience. I don't think we'll be back for awhile.
Course in good shape
Overall a nice experience. Had avoided Broken Arrow for a few years. Greens were very good with fair speed, fairways and tees in decent shape as well. Rough was very long due to the recent rains. Grass driving range was closed (off mats only). Great value for the $$ if you get a GolfNow deal. West Par 3 short course is closed (has been for 2 years). Later this summer suspect the greens will be rock hard and too fast for less skilled players. Played an additonal 9 holes after the 18 booked and caution - late afternoon pace of play was extremely slow due to leagues, etc.
Needs help
Cart path only.... But could have been 90* easy... Sand traps....don't even try to fix them...... Golfers do not come 1st at broken arrow!
This is a fun course to play.
This course has 2 holes on the north course, it's cool you can go for blue or red, each plays different. There are hidden traps behind hills on south course. Two holes have teired greens that is a challenge, 1 par 3 had a big drop. We play here when we score a great deal from Golf Now.
Fun course. Good layout
Enjoyed the course very much. Can be challenging from the tips. Overall a good value. Good service at the counter. The ranger was very nice considering how busy it was. Would recommend this course.
Great Value from GolfNow.com
I caught this special at Brolen Arrow, Lockport, IL on GolfNow.com for $36 including cart. The course was in great shape and the rating from the Blue tees is a tough 133. The pace of play for us as a 2-some on a Sunday mid-morning was an astounding 3 hours.
I'm enjoy playing this golf course.
Great golf course good location and specially have more choice to play with 3 courses...
Great course! Not too long but the greens are tough!
Went out on a foggy morning and played the South/North courses. After trying to wait out the fog, we decided to give it a go. Played first 5 holes in clearing fog but since the holes were not too long, we were able to track our balls. Once clear, we were able to play a nice course with a lot of character. First time playing the course and really enjoyed it.
Good course decent condition, a GolfNow bargain
A fairly wide open couse, young trees, north course is my favorite
Nice Course
Broken Arrow is a pretty nice course, but beware of GolfNow reservations. They do not honor the courses booked on GolfNow. I booked the East/South combo and was told we were playing the East/North combo. A bit frustrating in my opinion but we ended shooting all three haha. North course has double greens which at first is a good idea but it becomes tiresome as you play.
