Broken Arrow Golf Club - North/South
About
Located just 40 miles southwest of Chicago's Loop, Broken Arrow Golf Club is one of the most popular golfing facilities in the area. The club offers 27 holes of championship golf, divided into three unique nines that offer different challenges and scenery. The golf courses: East, North, and South, are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The North/South is the most scenic of the courses. The North is especially beautiful, but it also has another distinction. It is the only course in the Midwest with a dual-green concept. The design allows golfers to control the difficulty of the course by offering the option to play to either of the two flags on each hole. The club's former use as a farm is evident on the South nine where the original farmhouse and silo can be seen from the first tee box.

Nice find
Well maintained, very forgiving right off the tee…left? Houses! Sorry bout that!
Will recommend to friends, easy to get to for me from the South Loop (all highway). Only saw the cart gal once though.
Needs a Little TLC
Teed off before 6:30 AM and didn’t see a single groundskeeper the whole round. Maybe they cut the night before because the greens were in good shape but needed cleaning (goose poop, leaves, etc). Apparently rained there in the earlier AM but could not have rained much for the traps to be as poor as they are. Need truckloads of sand to fill the traps, all the traps I was in (several to be conservative) were wet packed down sand, no fluff anywhere and several had ditches from running water. Cart path on the north course could use some pothole repair. Still consider it to be a nice course despite these comments.
It was ok…
Pace is play was pretty bad. The group in front of us let walkers pass them…but never let us pass even tho they were hacking it up…need a ranger to help pace along. Overall good course…it was in good shape…
Questions about upkeep?
The course was in decent shape for spring golf, however they need to some major work on their sand traps, some tee boxes need work , and the greens have a lot of divot marks that need to be repair.
Not what it could be!!
I have been playing broken arrow since it opened. It’s a wonderful layout and convenient to play. It seems the last few years they have done little to improve the conditions of the course. The bunkers are unplayable. Just wonder why they don’t put a little money into making the golf experience more enjoyable?
No ball washers, no garbage cans, and the clubhouse
Cart path only
There was rain and the range was closed and then the cart path was pretty rough in some places.
Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow is an excellent course for the money. While somewhat difficult, it is not overly so.
I would play here again
Course was in good shape except the bunkers, no sand all mud overall pace of play was good . Played in 4 hrs
In the name of covid
Not thrilled with the fact that there was no water on the course, no cart with drinks, and low selection at the turn. When asked why? Covid precautions....okay I suppose that’s fine, then how about a little discount, no none of that. Cant be too safe....sure, is it not safe to keep up with the grounds, greens as well. Golf right now is a bit like the Cubs in the 80’s and 90’s. Selling out, so no need to do a good job, all good....Whatever, it’s fine, first time last time.
Very Good Track, fairly maintained, staff a bit aloof
I played the south -to-East. For all the moisture we had lately, this course is in great shape. Because of the weather greens are a bit sift and not too many people are fixing ball marks. Management should see that these ball marks are promptly fixed, otherwise the greens could be severely damaged.
