Broken Arrow Golf Club - North/South

About
Located just 40 miles southwest of Chicago's Loop, Broken Arrow Golf Club is one of the most popular golfing facilities in the area. The club offers 27 holes of championship golf, divided into three unique nines that offer different challenges and scenery. The golf courses: East, North, and South, are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The North/South is the most scenic of the courses. The North is especially beautiful, but it also has another distinction. It is the only course in the Midwest with a dual-green concept. The design allows golfers to control the difficulty of the course by offering the option to play to either of the two flags on each hole. The club's former use as a farm is evident on the South nine where the original farmhouse and silo can be seen from the first tee box.

TERRIBLE SAND TRAPS
I have played this course for 30 years.
Every sand trap was a mud hole with standing water. There was no rain recently .
after 9 holes I stopped in the clubhouse and I asked the 3 people behind the counter, why the traps were not taken care of. One man said you should not be in the traps anyway ... as he laughed. Then another said it was in the budget for new sand , but did not know when that would happen. What a shame for such a nice course .
Fun Track - Entertaining Layout
For the money this is one of the best values in the area. The layout is diverse offering different experiences between the holes. This was a nice departure from the down and back setup offered by a lot of area courses. Only negative is bring a range finder. No GPS and there were only 200/150/100 markers. We forgot ours and we were guessing on par 3s because they had zero yardage markings.
BA
Course was very nice except for the sand traps were unplayable as most were filled with water and or mud and it rained a few days ago. need to work on sand traps
We enjoy the round, Course and Greens are well maintained
It’s Great we enjoy round the Course are well maintained, Some of Bunkers needs more Sand.
Great comeback
Played after an inch of rain but course was in great shape. Greens were excellent after being lost two years ago. Traps will need some work after the down pour.
Nice course.
Fun course. Played South/East. Traps were under water due to recent heavy rain. Overall better than average daily fee courses.
Great Course - a bit expensive for what you are getting
I have played this course many times. I previously lived on a townhouse on the course. They do a pretty decent job maintaining the course, but there has recently been a couple issues Two years ago, they accidentally over fertilized the greens which became extremely burnt and caused me to stay away from the course for the remainder of the year.
This weekend, I was disappointed to see that there still was significant standing water in the bunkers (especially the fairway bunkers) and it had not rained for 4 days. I understand it takes time to do this, but for $70 and 4 days without rain and the bunkers were like quick sand if you stepped into them, I find these green fees to be unacceptable for this condition.
Overpriced
The bunkers were full of knee deep water.I lost 6 balls in traps. For what they charge, they need to address this or cut the greens fee.
