Horribly kept
Played the Tuesday after Labor Day, Prairie corse. I didn’t expect much but wow it was bad. The rough was 8” tall and it had so many grass clippings laying everywhere you couldn’t find your ball. Left me scratching my head, did they just cut it too 8” or did it need to still be cut and then why already the clippings everywhere. So unless you hit the fairway every shot you weren’t gonna have a shot due to the length of grass swallowing the club head. Greens were hard as concrete and insanely fast. Tee boxes looked as if they’ve never been repaired or relocated. They had everybody playing on the same 9 holes and the other two 9 hole courses had nobody. Had to wait more than you played on a Tuesday mid morning. Don’t waist your time play anywhere else I know I will”

First time, I'll be back
Had showers prior to the round, so it was a bit wet, drained well considering. Greens were very true, and in GREAT shape. The fairways were just aerated, and a little thick (longer grass than normal fairways). The rough is very very thick.
Hidden gem - I'll be back for a second opinion!

Aerated Fairways TERRIBLE!!!!
Lumpy grass in the fairways from lawnmowers and the inserts of the aeration caused unwarranted conditions!!!!

All good
It was kind of far from where I live but the courses were all good. There were 3 x 9 holes (Will combine 2 x 9 holes to play) a 18 holes.
The lady at the check-in desk was super friendly. Since there were no players (?), I had to play all by myself which was great and was able to finish in 3 -1/2 hours.
Will be back to play again soon.

Great Except For The Rough
I would have given 5 stars, but the rough is just too tall. It is long and takes WAY too long to find your ball. There were even a couple holes I couldn't even find my ball and I was just off the fairway. They need to keep the rough a bit lower to help find your ball and keep the pace of play moving. There is no reason someone should have to look that hard when your ball is only 20 feet off the fairway. Other the the rough, the course is GREAT! Brand new carts, excellent greens, and a bit underrated. I will be back, but please mow the rough.

Aerated tee boxes and fairways
This was course was good overall but there was too much sand on the tee boxes, my driver got sandy too often. The bunkers need more sand than the fairway which also had some sand before the green on some holes. Overall this course was good and interesting but some things need to be improved to get a 5 star

Skip the Boones Creek experience
Skip the Boone Creek experience… we reserved three times on Sunday, August 14 for $33. This is the first course that I haven’t paid for by my card on tee off.com and it said right on the teetimes that I made that you would pay at the course,. I should have realized there would be an issue to begin with because instead of $90 the gentleman behind the desk said it would be 150. When I explained I had purchased on teeoff.com The gentleman behind the desk said are you walking or are you riding. Every teatime I have purchased on Toff has the cart included. Since this course was around 45 minutes from home and it was an afternoon time we only had the choice of walking away and not playing or paying the extra 60 so we did pay the extra $60 and what a mistake, the tea boxes and Fairwayshave sand down as opposed to soil. My husband and I played this course six years ago and we couldn’t remember why we were never going to go back but at this juncture we will remember

Course conditions
Sand traps were hard pack with little to no sand base.
The rough was not cut recently so balls were very hard to find if at all.
The greens were very fast making them hard for distance control for the average weekend golfer.

greens are great
We love playing Boone Creek..the price is right, the variety is good (3 nines) and the greens are true and fast and fun.
It's unfortunate that we were playing Creekside and some jagoffs did donuts with their cart on the 9th green. Hopefully they were able to identify them. Glad the damage didn't look too bad.

Fast greens hard to read for a beginner but that’s what’s it’s all about learning . Perfect course for beginners due to price and amount of holes (27)

Okay course
Very short holes,but good course for seniors and beginners. Sanded the greens which was an unpleasant surprise. We still had fun.
