Boone Creek Golf Club - Valley Course

Price was right. Not very well maintained. Dress code non existent.

This is a great course for any skill level. It is well maintained and the greens are very nice. It has a few short and potentially drivable par 4's and a couple par 5's that are great for birdie opportunities. If you are able to keep the ball straight you will have no problem achieving a low score. Even if you slice, the other fairway allows you decent position to the green.

I have been golfing for 15 years now and have never been more man leaving a golf course in my life and I didnt even play bad. Horrible rangers, the pro shop guy could care less about what happened to us. The staff thinks that slow play is playing four hours with a foursome. I will never go back to this place again, they treat you like scum if you go through GOLFNOW.

The staff were not friendly. I hooked up with 3 others and all of us are not good. We were average at best. The fairways are soggy despite the fact it had not rained for awhile negating any real roll on your shot. Clumps of dried brown grass were all over the fairways and the rough was really thick and long making it very hard to get a good shot off for a slow swing. We had a hard time finding are shots in the rough. A pair of rangers berated us for our "slow" play despite the fact nobody was behind us. I HAD A HEATED DISCUSSION WITH THESE PEOPLE. It took us four hours ten minutes. I will never go back and would not give them a favorable review.

This was my first time playing the course and I was pleasantly surprised with its conditon. The greens were some of the nicest I've played this year. The fairways and greens are in great condition. If I had to remark about anything it would perhaps be the lack of a second cutting along the fairways. The rough is left quite high, which does make it challenging to hit out of. It would be nice to have a better lie if you're just off of the fairway in the second cut.

Great place for beginners and experienced.

Played on hottest day of the year and greens were firm and fast. Rough is short, but extremely thick and healthy. The rough is the only defense this course has. Very flat, but the meandering creek will catch your errant shots. A fun and easy course with good playing conditions for golfers of all levels.

Played 18 in 2hours and 40 min. This place is a great gem in the county.

I played on a Monday afternoon for $15 on a Hot Deal, so my expectations weren't through the roof, but I was pleasantly surprised. There's not a lot of character to the course and it's pretty straightforward and without a lot of trouble. It's just a good place to get out and get some swings, shoot a good score and feel better about your game. Fairways were a little shaggy, but the greens were in really good condition.
