Willow Hill Golf Course

I have played Willow Hill for years . I use Golf Now and used to received the cart included with my reservation . Not now. I find Herritage Oaks 9 hole course a better alternative.

Feels like Harborside International, but on the North Shore. The wind makes a tough track harder. Lots of elevation, the walk is as challenging as some of the shots. 2 par 5's, one you can get to in two and the other you'll get to eventually.

Best practice facility for regular people on the North Shore as well.

I do not know why the course cut down the roughs. That is what a links course is all about and what makes it a challenger. Put the high grass back in there and they should purchase land around course and make it 18 holes.

I was told they are putting in 9 more holes so there are some holes that have construction equipment and some sod that needed to be laid. Outside that the course is great. Has an awesome view of the city and great food and drink selection for after your round.

The course is very well maintained in excellent condition. The.cart is clean. The staff is very firendly and helpful. This course will be even more beautiful once all the works are done

Always fire. Always challenging. The greens continue to be insane and fun.

Since new owners took over, I see improvements each time I come back. The course conditions have improved greatly. The greens are firm and challenging and in really good shape. There was a mixup with our beverages, the owner took care of it with fantastic customer service . I can’t wait for next summer when bands start playing by the outside bar.

The staff are very friendly and the effort they are placing to improve the golf course as well as the club house and the outdoor dinning is very encouraging.

Fun courses but it’s always wet so they seldom let carts out. If it has rained within a week you will be walking. Nice layout and good greens but they need to address the poor drainage

Still a good value for the money. Lots of work being done on this course and its going to be a dandy. Little construction going on and wet conditions but this is Chicago and when you can get out at this time of the year it a bonus. Greens are in very good condition. And as always a very very friendly staff.

We have been playing there ever since the opening week. They are consistantly making improvement towards the golf course as well as all the amenities. The new owners are adding nine more holes to make the course a very sporty links course.

We’ve played Willow Hill 3 to 4 times and had very positive experiences - were very disappointed this time by the course conditions. There was a lot of standing water on the course and in a number of areas the walking paths were also covered with water. A few holes were close to unplayable. Though there had been a lot of rain the past weekend it had stopped by Monday evening and we didn’t play until 3 pm on Wednesday. Management needs to take a look at drainage and also see that grass is laid in some of the areas of uncovered soil. Attention also needs to be paid to drainage in sand traps as a number we’re unplayable

Course condition was OK for motor cart. I didn't know why forced me to drive car path only.

Nice course but you can tell a lot of these reviews were written by the management ending in 0 4 9 I read a lot of reviews nobody takes all that time to talk about the staff in the course otherwise
