Fun greens ...
Always fire. Always challenging. The greens continue to be insane and fun.
Getting better and better
Since new owners took over, I see improvements each time I come back. The course conditions have improved greatly. The greens are firm and challenging and in really good shape. There was a mixup with our beverages, the owner took care of it with fantastic customer service . I can’t wait for next summer when bands start playing by the outside bar.

They are constantly making improvements to the golf course.
The staff are very friendly and the effort they are placing to improve the golf course as well as the club house and the outdoor dinning is very encouraging.

Nice course
Fun courses but it’s always wet so they seldom let carts out. If it has rained within a week you will be walking. Nice layout and good greens but they need to address the poor drainage

End Of Year
Still a good value for the money. Lots of work being done on this course and its going to be a dandy. Little construction going on and wet conditions but this is Chicago and when you can get out at this time of the year it a bonus. Greens are in very good condition. And as always a very very friendly staff.

Speedskating
We have been playing there ever since the opening week. They are consistantly making improvement towards the golf course as well as all the amenities. The new owners are adding nine more holes to make the course a very sporty links course.

Not our best Willow Hill experience
We’ve played Willow Hill 3 to 4 times and had very positive experiences - were very disappointed this time by the course conditions. There was a lot of standing water on the course and in a number of areas the walking paths were also covered with water. A few holes were close to unplayable. Though there had been a lot of rain the past weekend it had stopped by Monday evening and we didn’t play until 3 pm on Wednesday. Management needs to take a look at drainage and also see that grass is laid in some of the areas of uncovered soil. Attention also needs to be paid to drainage in sand traps as a number we’re unplayable
I was surprised by the response from the staff at Willow Hill on my review. There was no mention of steps they are taking to address the poor course conditions.

Good course
Course condition was OK for motor cart. I didn't know why forced me to drive car path only.

Nice course but you can tell a lot of these reviews were written by the management ending in 0 4 9 I read a lot of reviews nobody takes all that time to talk about the staff in the course otherwise

Very Nice Course that they are making Even better
First of all the staff is fantastic they are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The clubhouse is beautiful and spotless. The course is very good considering all the work they are doing on it. I have been playing this course for years and this the best it has ever been. Lot of construction going on at the course but it doesn't interfere with the holes except on the first par 3 thats if you hit it short of the green. Fairways are the best they have ever been and also the greens. My compliments to the new owners on all they are doing. You may also want to grab a lesson from the pro there he is one of the best around.
