Avoid Willow Hill
Several holes under construction and have been so for a very long time. Most of the remaining holes are in fair to poor condition. Save your time and money!!

Getting better everyday
Course is getting better every time I play here. Construction crews are out there working to improve the course but do not interfere with the course conditions. They are throwing a lot of money into the course to make it a very nice course. So much work has been done this year and the improvements are really showing. Staff is very friendly. Course is in pretty good shape.

Solid 9 holes
Great views while the course was in solid shape. A few bad spots on greens but that’s what you can get with so much undulation. The pace was slow on a Saturday morning but its a unique spot to get great view of the city and challenge the wind. Wish it had 18 holes.

Don't let the wind scare you
Don't let the typically windy conditions on top of Willow Hill deter you from playing this course... this a nice mid distance ( and long from the Blues) links style course that is well maintained. and offers a challenge for even the accomplished golfer.

Under Construction/Poor Conditions
Fairways and greens very soft with standing water in many places. Bunkers are terrible, also with standing water. . Lots of construction going on. No ball washers....this course needs lots of work.

Play this course at least once a week. At nearly 70, the course provides just enough challenge and exercise for those that simply don't have the time or energy to spend 4 1/2 hours playing 18. With no backups takes 75 minutes to play; even at its slowest takes well under 2 hours. The course is well kept from tee to greens. Small to medium greens and mostly narrow fairways, sand traps and water provide the challenge despite the overall short length. Finally, the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Doesn’t get better than this
Beautiful scenic views, it’s surreal to be that highly elevated over the Chicago area. Course is challenging without being overly difficult, the putting greens are incredible. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and they will be adding another 9 holes. As a high handicapper I love the lack of trees and water hazardous, I usually play with refurbished “disposable” balls due to my frequent slices into the trees/water, but at Willow Hill, I’ve let to lose a ball in 27 holes. I recommend to every I play with.

Great 9 hole challenge.
Short but undulating, errant shots are penalized but not too excessively. No water, but I’m waiting for the pond to go in on #3!

Most Improved Facility
Maybe the most improved golf facility in the United States. Having a quality grass practice range on the north Shore is huge. No matts for me snymore

Excellent 9 hole course
I like this course for me and my wife. Course is located on the hill giving fresh air and cool wind.
