It's back!
Thanks to new ownership, a previous cow pasture is once again a great golf course. So much is being invested in this course. Clubhouse interior and exterior has been updated and you will find a great patio and indoor area. The course is quickly returning to its previous level of being well cared for. The plans for the future of this facility are so encouraging and the investment is so significant. This course is so much fun to play and the Chicago skyline view is magnificent.

Love the changes Willow Hill is making!
The course has always been a favorite of ours, despite the “rough and ready” gravel cart paths and the confusing guesswork finding the next hole. The view is priceless in this suburban setting, the wide fairways are long and forgiving, the breezes feel great, and for evening play, you CANNOT beat that view of the sunset. The patio is so nice and it’s great to see the investment in the beautiful clubhouse. Happy to have this course close by.

Nice nine hole course.
Course is in nice shape, and there were no ball marks to repair on the greens. Flag placement can be difficult at times when it's place on a steep slope - hard to get the ball to stop. Groups go off ten minutes apart. We had a firm tee time on a Friday afternoon when the weather was nice, but the cashier started a twosome of new golfers five minutes after the group in front of us teed off. We had to wait ten minutes for them to just get to the green on the first hole, and we asked the starter to continue to move them along, which he did. We had to wait for this twosome a few more times during the round, and this most likely wouldn't have happened if the cashier didn't try to accommodate more golfers than appropriate.

Wind can make this course very challenging because there is nothing blocking the entire course.

The 4th pin was front and middle. I hit my dive 315 and had 57 left. My 60 degree lob wedge hit perfect spot top left and ran out 35 feet past the hole.
That pin placement is wrong.

Up and coming course
The course is undergoing constant improvements in the clubhouse and on the fairways. Cart paths still need some work. Sloping greens make for added fun. Staff very friendly, and prices are very affordable.

Love this course!
Where do I start! From the second you walk into the clubhouse you know this is a good one. Brand new remodel and they are still working on some hardscaping. Cannot wait until it’s finished, full bar, open layout with tons of windows and light.
The course feels like you transported to England or Europe in general. I know it’s a Scottish style course and does not disappoint. Greens are well kept and the hills make for a challenge that will keep you coming back for more.
Great view of the city with only a 20 minute drive from the northside of a Chicago. $28 with cart and replay is $15, small bucket to hit before your round will cost you $6. Overall 8.3/10 rating! Will be a 9 when it’s finished! 9 holes only!

Best course out there
Great view of the skyline from atop the hill and the couple that own the course are super friendly and always working the clubhouse. There is some construction going on but the course is still in great shape and is a great play
