Communication
Fir the price Silver Lakes charges they should make you aware that there is a large outing which may impact your play time. We only played 15 holes because of these outings. Very bad communication especially when you have to prepay for the round.
Avoid if you can
Unless you like 5.5 hour rounds, I would avoid at all costs. There was a 4 group backup on the 4th hole. The ranger just smiled and said it was Sunday. They don’t care at all about the golf, just trying to squeeze as many tee times in as possible with 8 minutes in between each group. Awful experience, no chance I will be returning. I would recommend you stay away too.
Nice round
Nice course always enjoy playing super friendly staff love the concession stands at certain locations on the course
Great course and reasonable green fees
Been playing here for over two decades. They keep the greens and fairways in great shape considering all the traffic they see and current drought.
Wish the food and drink cart came around more often. Only saw her once in the north course.
Been a long time since I’ve played here
I understand that people are new at the sport. I really thank the rangers for moving the group in front of us up to speed play up. Just hated to see the group in front of us treat the course the way they did. Ex: driving way to close to the greens if not on them , yelling to each other with no regards to people around them.
Haven’t played here in 25 years. I loved the day out with buddy and other twosome we paired up with.
Avoid
First 3 holes finished in 30 mins. The next 15 took 5hrs and 15 mins. Waited almost 15 mins a hole to tee off. Never again. The staff is also rude- especially towards women. Actually glad this place is closing.
Hello, {thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear your experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for choosing North at Silver Lake Country Club.
Decent
Decent course but got stuck behind so many slow players. The group in front of mine caused 3 other groups to end up waiting in them at the same hole. Besides that, the course was in OK shape not the best. Course seemed VERY busy but I guess thats just the weekend. Overall, it was a decent course but slow players made it hard to enjoy.
rangers need to do there job .
i understand that covid has everyone trying to catch up but to allow certin groups to play 25 minutes a hole is just silly .there is no reason to play a round of golf for five and a half hours. if you don;t want to do the job let someone who will keep the game moving
Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing North at Silver Lake Country Club. We hope to see you again soon.
