Nice Layout, Terrible Maintenance
The staff is super friendly and kind. The course has an entertaining layout. Plenty of change in elevation, challenging trees, and water hazard placement. I played in late March, so didn’t I expect much. The tee boxes were pretty brutal, poorly maintained, and the greens did not roll nicely.
However a decent spot to spend very little money, rip a quick 9 with beginners learning the game, and head out.
Stars are paid?? fake reviews??
Apparently the high reviews are pay to play. I haven't played this course as a "member" in a year or more. Ownership should know this as the minority owner and a worker voted my group out of the league and from playing the course yet here I get a review us email begging for a review 13 months later pathetic. Course is a challenging layout but sustained damage from winds and flooding and has changed in past 2 years. Maintenance was hit or miss for years, and well ownership....well...
Great 9 hole course
A great 9 hole course that has some long holes as well to keep it interesting. Always like playing here when I'm looking to just play 9.
2020 golf season
This is a fabulous track with new ownership that have it in great shape...the staff is gracious...the layout challenging and a nice after golf facility to grab a cold one..if you haven't played...give it a try!
Hidden Gem
I've played this course numerous times. It's fair but challenging. Greens are country club class.
It's a great course for walkers with greens and next tee relatively close.
Great/Sporty nine hole course
This is a great nine-hole course. It is kept up very well. It is not easy by any means. Some narrow fairways will test your golf as will the undulating greens. You won't be disappointed.
Great course all around!
Plenty of challenging holes on this 9 hole course. Many different types of lies and obstacles To deal with. Don’t be fooled by the length of this course. It is a good test of your shot making abilities.
Hidden gem
First time at oak hills, course layout is a solid 9 holes
3-4-5 pars are all challenging
Just coming off a drought I was surprised to find the fairways and greens in excellent condition
Only gave 4 stars overall because of the closed kitchen and clubhouse due to covid
Beer pop and alcohol were available with a great selection and very affordable
I’ll be back
Great course
Beautiful, well maintained, and challenging course. Unfortunately i think due to the holiday they didn't have a ranger working. The pace of play was terrible. Was stuck behind a group of 4 who were taking way more than 15 minutes to play each hole.
great find
nice course well kept greens were tough
elevations and some water kept it interesting
Thanks for your review of Oak Hills. I agree with the wording of your review that our course is very entertaining, has several changes in elevation and water hazards on 5 holes. However, with over 30 inches of snow on the golf course throughout February and most of March, most courses in the area start the season off with greens that cannot be cut and tee boxes that haven't been tended to. Hence, we offer people discounts this time of year because of those factors.
We hope you come out again and see how well kept the facility is during the 'normal golf season.
Thanks again for coming out!
