Been coming here for years. Now I'm noticing subtle characteristics like natural grass growth that gives the appearance of links and woodlands style. One of the better forest preserve courses around.

Not happy with how they allow constant tee times in the back 9 when my group started at 6am to start but then had to decide to be held by a group that was asked to start at the back 9 or skip a hole past them. Took away or pace of play

Whatever issues I have they are pretty minor. For the price it’s a great value. The course is well

Maintained. Good greens. Sand is rubbish ,but that’s the only issue.

Played this course many times over the years. Right now it has been the best in a long time. The friendly staff was telling us that the crew has been working hard and it shows. $27 walking!

Who's hair-brained idea was it to book 5 minutes apart and some big group kicked me off my tee time and said tough luck. Starts said thwy couldn't do anything. I didnt tee off until 1040 and then they had a 5 some and 6 some go. Terrible

Long backups because of lack of carts. Restrooms were filthy and full of bugs, urinals were out of order. The greens were in very poor condition. The tee boxes ave fairways were well kept. The price for 18 holes with cart was very good. You get what you pay for here.

This public course was in decent shape on fairways , greens had many marks.. but that’s more about people not being courteous and fixing their own divits. Not much of a clubhouse did get a dog at turn it was ok. Course could be better but wasn’t too bad for forest preserve course

Saw a barrel of rakes at first tee. Asked about them and was told take one to rake traps during my round. Really? Why not a rake at each trap? Seems a bit odd. How many rakes would be needed? Every other course has a rake at each bunker. Why the new deal?Seems a bit odd for lack of a better word.

Must place shots out of the tee box and the greens are legit.

Half of the foursome ahead of us were late which caused us to have a delayed start time. The other half of our foursome did not show up. The party behind us kept teeing off while we were in the middle of the fairway even though they could see we were waiting for the group ahead of us to get off the green. There was no ranger out there to manage anything. There was also an annoying announcement near the course that kept repeating itself. Because every hole was on top of each other you had golfers from other holes hitting off your fairway. Overall everything was so terrible we didn't even bother with the back nine.

One of the better kept forest preserve courses of Cook County.
