Deerfield Golf Club

Took over 5 hours to play 18. Ranger comes up to us and tells us we need to move faster when there are two 4somes ahead of us. We are literally waiting for 15 minutes every time to tee off and this guy tells us to pick up the pace. Ridiculous

Fairly narrow, more strategic shots required. Not necessary to use a driver on some holes.

The old angry man in the club house needs to get a life. Everyone else was wonderful it was a wonderful round. Fun place they have dumbed it down but it helps with the pace of play

Nestled in the woods, the course is more strategic. Fair sized greens, not long so irons off some tees are appropriate. Hazards are not usually in play although there is water and traps placed around the course. Ok

Forget this if you want to play in 4 hours or less on any kind of nice day. The only time I saw a ranger, once before we started. Left after 14 holes and not because of bad play. No fun if they can’t keep play moving

Greens are so slow but nice course aside from that

I enjoyed the variation of the course from hole to hole. Not a lot of water, average amount of sand traps, rough was relatively easy. They have a Ranger who told us to speed up play around the 12th hole which was annoying because we were a foursome of decent golfers and the people in front of us were not moving all that fast. Some of the greens were pretty chewed up and could easily be repaired so that was disappointing. Overall I enjoyed playing there and would go back at a Tee-off discount but I wouldn't pay the regular green fee prices.

This price you would pay for this course is not in the lifetime of what you would expect. The course had pieces of the greens missing when trying to putt. Was unbelievable and could not believe it.
