Deerfield
Course was great fun. The day started out windy and wet, but by the 4th hole it was hot, humid, and cloudy. The course was fair and long. We had a great time, with a nice pairing of a father-in-law with son-in-law.
Last minute Sunday round
I played here three years ago and the course is the same. It beat me up back then but not today.
There is a lot of water on the course and it rewards shot control. Some of the fairways are narrow and are better played with an iron or wood off the tee. I didn't pull out my driver until the par 4's got around 400 yards.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The $10 bucket of 50 balls on the range was a little pricy and there is no other option. All in all, a good day on a nice course.
Great day of golfing!
I had a great day of golfing. The weather and course were very good. Not rushed and able to play at our own moderate pace.
Current virus restrictions
With the virus conditions we are now facing, the staff and the course were very well prepared and operated in a safe and efficient manner. It was a very enjoyable round.
Nice course, a bit pricey
Played Deerfield for the first time today and really liked it. The greens were nice and I liked the overall conditions. Wasn’t sure where to hit it off the tee on a few holes which I chalk up to playing the course for the first time. Some narrow fairways but a nice looking course. Would play it again.
Play was a little slow. Course was in great shape.
A gem in the burbs....
This is my second round here in 3 weeks. The course is beautiful and plenty challenging enough for all levels of skill. Signage is good as is spacing between groups. The Bloody Mary's are yummy as is the food. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is different playing these days as you have to carry enough water with you on the course, no cart service to replenish, there are no ball washing stations, very few trash cans, and only one restroom facility on the driving range.
Fun track
Awesome starter. Friendly. Makes such a difference.

Was not allowed to book 9 holes. only could book 18. Got to the course 10 minutes ahead of start, was told that because of lightning dely could not tee off for and hour. despite having phone # and e-mail, was not notified of the delay. asked for a refund but was told they could not give me one because i had booked through golf now. waited additional 45 minutes to tee off.
