Great 9 hloe layout
A beautiful course located right on the Fox River in St. Charles. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., it is an interesting mix of holes with water coming into play on 2 holes including an island green. Course is not overly long, but requires course management and shot making to score well. Overall a great value in a beautiful setting! Want to play 9? Highly recommend.
great 9 hole track
The weather in Chicago area has been extremely wet . Pottawatomie is next to Fox River . As wet as it has been , this course is in excellent condition. Great layout , greens in nice shape for this time of year . Will definitely play here till course closes !
No course management
Tee time was 11:30. Four groups in front of us waiting. 20 min after our time we finally got off. Never saw a ranger. Slow slow slow. Top it off with golfers driving carts on the green. There’s more. You get the idea. It’s too bad. It’s a nice little course.
One Fun Track
This is a beautiful piece of land and one fun course to play... staff is always accommodating, definitely family friendly.. highly recommend it if you’re looking to enjoy 9 holes, gets even prettier in the fall!

A good 9 hole course. Fun layout 9th hole is one of the toughest around to par Course is in excellent condition
Great day for the money
Potawatomi is a very nice course for the price. Staff is friendly layout is pretty good pace of play is always relaxed.
Great gem along the river
Best 9 hole course around. A must walk. Island green on a par 4. Not long, but challenging.

NO RANGER...MAKES THINGS SLOW!
Nice public course...wet in some spots due to the terrible storms we have had. Walked 9 holes. Was slow due to 2 ladies in front of me who really didn't care I was by myself waiting on every shot.. Makes for frustrating round to wait. I would return again, but would make sure it's off peak time.
Nice 9 hole course.
Plays fairly quick. Constantly upgraded facility. Greens and fairways very good shape. Great choice for time challenged golfers. Right along the Fox river and can flood so check after a major rain.
