About
Odyssey Country Club is a challenging layout that was designed by Harry Bower and two-time U.S. Open winner Curtis Strange. Strange won in 1988 and 1989, putting him in the company of only six others in the century-long history of the U.S. Open. His influence is apparent in all the strategic elements of the golf course as well as the risk-reward options. This demanding layout is not exactly beginner friendly. Staying on the fairways is crucial or your ball will be met with deep rough. Water is also a prominent presence on the golf course. Twelve holes either feature a water hazards or play along the water's edge. Odyssey Country Club's 16th hole is memorable for its tricky island green, which naturally draws comparisons to the famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass.

Nice course - slow play
Good layout. Worth it if you get a deal. Pace of play was painfully slow. Too many newbie "Covid" golfers who think they are tour pros as they wait to hit par 5's in 2 from 300 yards out. So ridiculous. Spend some time on the range and take a lesson. Also, learn proper etiquette with regards to other patrons and the course. Maybe a ranger doing something would help.

It is a great course but numerous fairways were very wet in the middle of a hot summer.
Good Course, Not So Good Shape
Nice course, but its seen better days. Needs some upkeep! Greens are kind of beat up (bumpy), few of the fairways are in need of repair, and there’s geese poop EVERYWHERE!!!
Course still has great potential...hopefully they fix before it’s too late!
Great value
I was very pleased at the price that we played at this facility. Great value and a fun round. The greens were a little slow but overall was a great time.
Nice course. Fairly forgiving. Pretty. Greens had just been slit cut, which was unfortunate. Guy in the pro shop seems to struggle with on line bookings.
Very slow to pace of play. you need a rangier to push the play or more interval time between player and player.
First Time at Odessey
Nice layout, greens were very good condition course in general is well kept. I will be playing here again before the end of the season.

I’ll definitely play it again I played from the tips and shot low 80s I’m sure I can do better
Worst Golf Ever
Starter had a group cut in front of us while we were playing the first hole., to start on the second hole. Another group came out of nowhere on the back nine to cut in front of us on the 11 hole.
A bit disappointed
Used to be one of my top 3 courses in the area. I have always loved the layout of the course. I’m just getting back into golf now that I have the time and played Odyssey for the first time in 8 or 9 yrs. was extremely surprised and disappointed in the upkeep of the course, especially the greens. Does NOBODY know how to or care to fix a ball mark on the green? Every green was littered with new and old ball marks. While I’m sure this isn’t the course’s fault, why don’t I see this problem anywhere else. Maybe a sign or reminder to fix ball marks is needed. I’ve never seen anything like this on what should be a nice course.
