About
Odyssey Country Club is a challenging layout that was designed by Harry Bower and two-time U.S. Open winner Curtis Strange. Strange won in 1988 and 1989, putting him in the company of only six others in the century-long history of the U.S. Open. His influence is apparent in all the strategic elements of the golf course as well as the risk-reward options. This demanding layout is not exactly beginner friendly. Staying on the fairways is crucial or your ball will be met with deep rough. Water is also a prominent presence on the golf course. Twelve holes either feature a water hazards or play along the water's edge. Odyssey Country Club's 16th hole is memorable for its tricky island green, which naturally draws comparisons to the famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass.

Very slow to pace of play. you need a rangier to push the play or more interval time between player and player.
First Time at Odessey
Nice layout, greens were very good condition course in general is well kept. I will be playing here again before the end of the season.

I’ll definitely play it again I played from the tips and shot low 80s I’m sure I can do better
Worst Golf Ever
Starter had a group cut in front of us while we were playing the first hole., to start on the second hole. Another group came out of nowhere on the back nine to cut in front of us on the 11 hole.
A bit disappointed
Used to be one of my top 3 courses in the area. I have always loved the layout of the course. I’m just getting back into golf now that I have the time and played Odyssey for the first time in 8 or 9 yrs. was extremely surprised and disappointed in the upkeep of the course, especially the greens. Does NOBODY know how to or care to fix a ball mark on the green? Every green was littered with new and old ball marks. While I’m sure this isn’t the course’s fault, why don’t I see this problem anywhere else. Maybe a sign or reminder to fix ball marks is needed. I’ve never seen anything like this on what should be a nice course.
Worst Greens I've Ever Played
I don't normally write reviews but wanted this feedback to get out there. I hadn't played this course in about 5 years but from what I remembered, it was in immaculate condition. The greens were in probably the worst shape I've ever seen in terms of people fixing their ball marks. Each green must have had hundreds of unfixed ball marks. It was as if players were intentionally not fixing their marks. I was typically 20' away and had to fix at least 4 marks in my line alone on every hole. I know it's not as much the course's fault as it is the players but I could not believe how poorly people took care of this course. I will think twice before returning as it really made playing here not enjoyable.

Good shape - SLOW play
Course was in excellent shape. Greens sped up as later afternoon went on. Pace of play was awful. Started at 3:10 pm as a single - ended at 7:45pm. There were several 4-somes that played incredibly slow and didn’t offer to let me pass through. I will play again only if I get the first tee time of the morning. Also, the pro-shop staff was not friendly or helpful when I asked about tee times, pace of play and course conditions.

Always a great round, move from front to back Tees and it’s like playing a diff course, good pace, great staff! They are great to veterans!! Thanks again Odyssey!We will be back often!

1st time playing here and I will absolutely be going back. Pace of play was great believe it was a 3:30 hour round with a 4 some.

This course was beautiful and has a tough back 9. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone.
Nice layout
The course has a really nice lay out but the drainage on the course is very very poor
Really Nice Course
Very nice course, decent layout and well kept. Staff was friendly, plenty of food and drink options. Some funky holes but a great experience, especially for the price. Kind of far from downtown but worth it.
