Early Season Golf
The course is much better than it was last week. Grounds are firmer and greens are faster. Looking forward to how it will look later in the season. Shared a great round of golf with good friends.
South side gem
The course is in good shape for new year of golf. Greens are still dormant, but rolling pretty well. Bunkers need raking, and rakes need to be put in bunkers. Many deer tracks, and foot prints in them. Overall, the course is good and pace of play is alright.
Still Early
Great value for the money, course conditions will improve as the weather improves. One of the toughest finishing 4 hole stretches in the area.
Course conditions
Was nice to get an early March round in. Course was in surprisingly good shape being so early in the year. We dont get many 65 degree days this early in March, so it was nice of Deer Creek to open up. Challenging course but you can do well with good iron shots.
South side gem
course was in good shape, except for people not fixing their ball marks on the greens. it only takes a few seconds to repair a ball mark.
Local course
Course was in good shape. Traps were water covered and lacking playable sand. Greens were a little slow compared to previous rounds.
This track is a gem.
This track is a gem. Meticulously maintained, even when the leaves come down. The greens are true as can be, but still not easy. Freshly paved paths make for a smooth ride. In Chicago, that's a priceless oddity. Thanks again, can wait to be back.
Good course and a good value for the price. The course was in very good shape, especially the greens.
Great public course
Today was the first time in a long time that I had to quit after 5 holes because of slow play. I was alone, and caught up to a threesome, who wouldn't even offer to let me play through. I would have caught up to a foursome, who I'm sure would have let me play through. What happened to being courteous on the course? Hope I never run into people like that again.
Dependable and in great condition
Was able to finish 9 in under 1hr. 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Course in surprisingly great condition considering the recent lack of rain. Had a great round.
