Mystic Oak Golf Course in Waterloo has a diverse layout that seems to play a little differently each time you're on it. The layout features long, winding fairways and gently sloping greens, which are framed by a slew of strategically placed bunkers. There are also many water hazards that come into play throughout the golf course. The gently rolling terrain has subtle ups and downs that provide tricky uneven lies. The back nine is uniquely divided into three par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The golf course will test your short-game skills but the lengthy par 5s offer driving opportunities for long hitters as well. Mystic Oak Golf Course is player friendly enough for a wide range of skill levels but you may be surprised to find yourself using all the clubs in your bag.

Hole layouts are terrific
While there are some patchy spots here and there, overall the course is a good play and will be going back
It took 3.5 hours to play 11 holes. We were on pace for a 6 hour round before I left on hole 12. There were multiple times when there were 10+ players on one hole with 8-10 players waiting in the tee box . I don't think I've ever seen that before. I'll pay the extra and go across the street where they know how to book.
Golf in the wind!!!!
We like playing here occasionally but today was especially challenging as the wind was blowing .....hard. Food in restaurant is quality and the drinks are average price for a golf course. The only drawback today was the back 9 was unplayable due to the fact that there was concrete replacement happening. It can only improve the course as some cart paths were rough.
Great course and friendly staff
New top golf and they were all more tha patient and welcoming
Was greeted by a very nasty employee
Employee literally did finger waving and much sarcasm for being 5 minutes late. Course wasn’t busy.. No wait time on 1st tee but she was angry. Other customers commented on her poor people skills. Fair course but not worth being greeted by such nasty employee.

Great course to play, friendly staff and great BBQ. Love to play here.
Pretty course - lots of water
Very pretty course but somewhat difficult if you have not played here before. Lots of water and doglegs so hard to know where and how far to hit it. If you played it a few times, could be quite fun.
