Acorns Golf Links

The layout was simple but challenging when played from the blue or black tees. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape.

Acorns has an interesting layout. Short par fours can deceive if you are not cautious. We are seniors in our low sixties. From the white tees we had a good test of our game. The greens were in great shape, running medium fast. Number 18 hole is a challenge with water In front of the tee and then all down the right side. The hole plays as a dogleg right, so the approach to the green is then over the same lake. I always enjoy playing Acorns.

Love this place, but like most Metro Least courses, sloooow play dominates with foursomes of bumpkins lollygagging, hitting multiple balls despite groups behind waiting, playing out of bunkers when we aren’t supposed to, playing loud music, and generally being loudmouths, keep that garbage across the river in the dump that is The STL! Great course tho, keep up the great work Acorns!!

This course is in great shape and they are working on it all the time. Spongy Zoyzia fairways All greens and tee boxes in good condition. . It give Annbriar some big competition.

The course was in good condition and was beautiful to play. Greens were in good condition and staff was really nice and gave me some tips on some of the holes.

The only negative thing i had with the experience was the group of 4 ahead of us playing loud music and you could tell were hammered. I was picking up the beer cans they were throwing out.. so you can guess the pace wasn’t the best and blocked up a few groups. I hadn’t teed off yet by the time another group was watching for their turn.

Over all great course. I throw the weekends maybe have a guys drive around to keep people on pace.

fairways are purple.. bunkers are dirt and rough is 6 inches. Use to love this course but wow. I understand you haven't been able to have people play because of covoid so you might of neglected it a little bit but then only positive I have is the greens

The best overall value and close to south st.louis co.

This course has always been a go-to course for me, and with the Illinois lockdown recently, they have been able to let the greens regrow and they were fantastic for a public course. Fairways were great for the most part. Some tee boxes are still a little rough, but you are teeing it up anyway so it doesn't really matter. I will be back soon.

Acorns continues to be one of the best deals for golf around St. Louis. Course is in nice shape for February with condition as expected. Only issue was the green on number 6 has some issues. They're remodeling the restaurant and will be ready in March I believe, so if you're going soon pack some snacks in your bag.

It’s the first week of December, and we’re playing golf! Course is in great shape, zero things to complain about. Keep up the great work Acorns staff!
