Love the course! Fun and challenging! It’s in excellent shape. Very friendly staff. Can’t recommend it enough!!!

This place has great potential but ownership in my opinion let's it go. Greens were terrible and very slow. Hard time finding holes because they are so poorly marked. Guy at front desk was rude and arrogant. Place is very antiquated. Not worth the time traveling from St Louis.

This course is absolutely beautiful! That is one reason I love playing here. There are some easy greens & some challenging ones. If you have never played here you should definitely try it. It is my favorite golf course.

My golf buddy and I really like playing this course . It's an hour drive for us, but the lay out is interesting with bluffs and water layout is perfect and not hidden. Bunkers but not everywhere you look. the club house is great as the patio looks out on the 18th hole coming in with a lake the players circle around to make the final shot to the green just below the patio. Great selection of beers and cocktails and very reasonable on drinks and food. perfect place for a cigar after a fun round.

This course is always in great condition. So unlike many courses in the area. Always fairway grass to hit off of. Greens are immaculate. For whatever reason, for those who search hot deals, seems like you can regularly get a deal. Great course for the money.

Interesting course, I like the layout. Different looks from each tee box. Not just "driver, six iron" all day long, like some courses. Some holes favor a draw, others a fade. Greens are in great shape, tee boxes not bad either, fairways look good from all the rain we've had lately, only the traps were sloppy, but all-in-all a great course.

Great course, greens in great shape. Only downside was the bumpkin in a Blows sweater mowing on every hole, don’t know if it is Mow Monday or what, but really annoying with this clown with us on 18 of 18 holes.

After having had a bad experience at Quail Creek in S St Louis MO, with NO water on their golf course and a very rude manager, I decided it’s time to find another course and venture a little farther from home. I’m so glad I did! I saw the positive reviews in Golfnow for The Acorns which I haven’t played for years. Just driving up the long driveway, I knew I was going to enjoy this course. The fairways looked plush and luscious. And the green looked just as nice. Oh yeah! With all the rain we’ve had in this area, I was happy it was NOT cart path only, which we all know makes for a longer and tedious game. Kudos to Ryan and Rita who both assisted me in getting on that first tee. The price was very reasonable and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and playing this course! The course is laid out nicely and my ball rolled smoothly on the greens. I’ll be back soon!

The greens roll amazingly. The fairways and tee boxes are always nice. Every hole had a different layout and it makes it fun/interesting.

In spite of all the rain we've had, this course was in excellent shape! First time playing here so not sure how it compares during dry times. Even though it was cart path only, was not a difficult course to play (and I never seemed to be able to hit my ball close to the cart path). Will definitely be booking here again!

Excellent lay out. Great greens. Fairways need little work. Love the golf cart with cell phone charger.

One of my regular courses. There are a lot of courses that are closer to where I live, but they charge more and are in a lot worse condition.

Plus it’s rarely, if ever crowded. My experience at the Acorns is consistent - always a 4 star experience.

Looks like there are going to be some nice improvements for this year. Remaking a couple of areas, new carts, etc. I love that they are always making improvements. That’s a contrast from so many other courses.
