Salt Creek Golf Club

Friendly staff. This majority of the holes on this course are par 3s. Few par 4s. Not very challenging at all. The course could use a uplift in condition too.

2 nine hole courses that can be played together for 18. Course is in good shape but is slightly set up weird. You must pay attention to what color 9 you are playing or you can get mixed up. There are a few signs but more is needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a easy set up outside for check in and clean carts awaiting during this covid time. $31 with cart 18holes was a fair and good deal for this course don't think I would pay much more. Both 9 holes are short with no par 5's short par 4's and alot of par 3's.

Course is fine for what it is. Great for new golfers. Not a lot of distance.

We had a terrible experience at Salt Creek. The Front desk staff was incredibly rude and there was no carts ready when we arrived and were coldly told to walk or wait for one to come in. When we finally got out, the course was in bad shape and was way too packed. We made it through 2.5 holes in an hour and were told by the staff on the phone that we could get a refund if we wanted to come in. We did so and were instead given a 9-hole rain check. The staff, the crowded nature of the course, combined with the bad shape did not make it worth the high price whatsoever. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

This course was a waste of time and money. It took us over an hour to play three holes before we gave up and left. The course was in bad shape, and the employees were rude at check in. When we arrived there were no carts available and were coldly told to either walk or wait for a cart to return. And then we were promised a refund over the phone and instead were given a 9 hole rain check. All in all it was a terrible experience for which we should’ve been given a refund. Do not play here.

The course is one pretty straight, uneventful Hole after another. Decent value for money I guess. The staff was friendly, but what bothered me was that they didn’t really follow health department guidelines on reopening. Golfers were not in their own separate carts, with people having to share carts, and the staff wasn’t wiping down the carts at all.

No pace of play, lots of golfers not adhering to guidelines. Had to leave after 12 holes and 5 hours on the course.

Starter was very rude and told us we played through fast and had to check in again at the clubhouse why I don't understand and we questioned why they were putting groups in front of us and he started arguing and telling us they're not there to make money I told this to Ron the manager the next day and he didn't even seem to care or apologize said he'll look into it horrible customer service course does not drain water well and the rough is very high

I enjoy playing at salt creek because the course are straight and not too long. For a beginner like me, It's a good practice course.

Great to get out to play. Due to overly panicked Illinois lock-down rules, the beverage cart wasn't available. The food service was not available.

We played 18 and made the turn starter rudely told us we played too fast we had to check in again at clubhouse lady just looked at me and shook her head also starter told us they were not there to make money when we questioned putting other people before us as we made the turn I believe every business is there to make money I mentioned it to Rob the manager later who did not apologize and just said he would look into it I played this course about eight times this year does not drain water well and rough is too high and I believe customer service should be a number one priority in all businesses

Our kids 13 & 11 , know how to golf. This was the perfect walkable course after they learned all rules and etiquette at our neighborhood par 3. Great time! Social distancing was well managed by staff.
