Well maintained course
Course was little bit easy but conditions and maintenance was quite good.
I want to play again:
Clover Leaf
Finally got out to play Belk Park was indeed impressed by the great conditions of the Fairways and Large greens. The course reminds me of Clover Leaf because its so open and flat. I feel this is a beginners course with only a few water hazards come into play. Overall had a great time. Not a better course then Spencer T or Stonewolf but for the price and after a long day or night at work this is a gem!!!
Pleasant Surprise
I wanted to play a different course in the area, and this turned out to be a good one. Layout was a nice park style, some challenge but overly. Greens were a bit inconsistent in speed, but lines were pretty true.
Nice layout
All good except for the pace of play which was way too slow for my liking - my round took over 5 hours to complete. Some holes had a few groups on the tee waiting to tee off. Course was in good shape with nice wide and well cut fairways and greens. I will likely play there again and hopefully it will be faster next time. If you have time for a casual round, I think you'll enjoy playing this course.
Course was wet, so it was cart path only.
Greens were fast and challenging. a lot of wet spots, but a nice course. enjoyed the day
Always fun to play
Greens and fairways in good shape.Stay in the fairway or declare the leaf rule before you tee off.
Best course in town for the price
It was a 45 minute drive to this course but it was worth it. It has a great variety of doglegs and challenges for every level of golfer. The greens putted so true it felt like I was on a private club. Great course, the only downfall would be an elite player that is long might find it not challenging enough. A+

Simply Outstanding
Have lived in the area for near 10 years and have not played this course. Wow, have I been missing out! The course was simply in perfect condition. I found nothing wrong with the fairways, tee boxes or greens. Greens rolled almost to perfection. The course is wide open and it's all in front of you. Don't let the wide open conditions fool you. You still have to hit the shot. Any miscue will find either a hazard or trees to content with, but it's nice you probably will not lose your golf ball. Also, the rough is not impossible, but does make it a challenge to hit the green. The challenge will come to the better golfers due to it's length. I played the white tees and still had several holes that were long. Playing the back tee will give you a good challenge for the better players. It's also a great course for the beginners. Ample room to play with wide fairways. The ONLY criticism I have, and it's VERY minor, is that the greens were all round circles and fairly flat. While that may be boring to the eye, they were still a challenge to putt, breaks were very subtle and almost impossible to read. Bottom Line: Go Play This Course!!
slow play
pace of play excruciatingly slow, just awful.. nice course, but if you like 4 hour rounds, go somewhere else. if you go to Belk Park bring a boatload of patience. Pace of play is the worst I have encountered in STL Metro
I'd do it again
First time playing at Belk Park. I'd totally play there again. It's a great value and the staff is eager to make your golf experience a pleasure. The course is well maintained. However, the rough was too tall--very easy to lose errant balls. The tee boxes weren't in lousy condition. One call to the clubhouse and they will send someone out if there is an unusually slow group ahead of a lot of players. I used aBOGO thatI had earned from GolfNow. Couldn't find another player so I went there alone. It was over a half hour drive from my house in Southwest City of StL but, in retrospect, it was worth the drive and I'd go again.
Belk Park
good course, good condition, good cart fleet. only complaint is there are no 100,150,200 yard markers. yardage is a guessing game.bring your range finder
Highly Recommended
This is one of the Metro East's best values. The course is in great shape and the price is very reasonable.
Belk Park
Course was in great shape. The rough could have been shorter but that's my fault for being in it. Would have appreciated the monitor doing something about the group of five two parties ahead slowing down play but overall a great day of golf. New driving range is awesome and staff very friendly. Best value on the east side
A course with great value
Belk Park was a very enjoyable experience. Course was in excellent condition, greens were a little firm and true. Every course should begin like Belk- medium length par-4, with no trouble. That really helps to get the round off to a quick start.
No "tricked-up" holes, a fair test for all.
Nice course!
Belk Park is a really nice course that was fun to play.. Front nine is different enough from the back that you never feel that you have already played a hole. Greens were perfect and about the fastest I've ever played. The course needs a little work off of the fairways and there are some weeds around some of the greens, but the overall condition was good. I enjoyed playing this fun and challenging course and will return.
Clarification
Listen I never give anything an excellent. However this course is my all time favorite. The staff is friendly(young man thanked me for playing there), the course is fun, close to home and excellent management now. Keep up the good work.
The course was really nice
I liked the course it was challenging especially the greens which were very fast
