Greens too tricked out. Holes were placed on impossible locations. On spines and one inches away from a false front. Was having a decent round but quit counting at 10 when I went down the false front 4 times. Cmon! Otherwise good value on great property.

Excellent for this part of the state - You can rarely find this style of course that actually plays like a links style. The fairways are in incredible shape and very surprising for a course in the park district. Difficult - the sloping greens and fairways are a fun and challenging terrain. Would definitely play again and would recommend.

Fun course, challenging greens
Pretty open course, with rolling fairways that could give you an uphill or downhill stance. Greens can be challenging with very few flat or straight putts.
If you have never played the course, I highly recommend getting a cart (or playing with someone familiar with the course). The layout of some holes is not obvious and the scorecard does not have the layout. Looking at the GPS was helpful.
