Shepherd's Crook Golf Course

Very well maintained course. Nice vieew. Good reasonal price.

I injured my back a few days prior to playing.

Thought I could work through it and play. Could not.

When I went to cancel, I was and hour past the 48 hour rule. Should be a 24 hour policy. Not a GolfNow fan.

First time playing here and will definitely play again. Course layout was awesome and greens and fairways immaculate. Really fun course to play.

Excellent golf course in awesome condition. The greens roll fast and hold good approach shots. Played mid afternoon, pace of play was great. From a golf standpoint, everything is great. The only negative about Shepherd's Crook is the guy working in the pro shop. If you're expecting even a semblance of a friendly greeting when you walk in for your round, you've come to the wrong place. Instead, expect an angry stare and no words spoken until you initiate an exchange. One of the weirdest, strangest, most unpleasant check-ins I've ever experienced, anywhere, let alone a pro shop. Extremely rude and super unpleasant for absolutely no reason at all. Borderline disrespectful. Unfortunately I didn't get the guy's name, and he was gone by the time our round was over, but it's probably in Shepherd's Crook's best interest to find somebody to work the pro shop who is willing to treat people the right way. It shouldn't be difficult.

This course is fantastic! Great course layout! The grounds crew has the course looking perfect. Not sure why big golf events haven’t happened there yet.

It took 5 hrs to finish on Monday morning. Bittersweet is a wonderful golf course, but we always meet players playing so slow. A group in front of us had 3 players when we had 4 players. But we had to wait, and 2some behind us yelled at us to move.

Beautiful and difficult at the same time. Just what you're looking for in a round of golf. Course is in immaculate shape. Friendly staff accommodates when you arrive. Well worth the $$$$. One of Lake County's finest !!
