Great course
This is my hone course and play once a week. They added a huge putting green that has a putting course. They have made huge improvements on alot of the holes and drains very well.

We got lucky and we were able to tee off at 6pm and finish 9 holes before dark. Course was in good shape. very fun.

Beautiful course and kept in such good shape - wish it was closer to chicago but if you get an early t time you can get out in 40 minutes

Really enjoyable course on the state line
For my money, this is one of the nicest courses in the area. The fairways and greens are always well-manicured, however the rough can often be almost unfairly thick. Accuracy is rewarded as often the angle of your approach shot is more important than distance. I love the par 5 finishing holes on both 9's, as you're forced to make a decision on your 2nd shot rather than just swing away.
The clubhouse isn't much: a small bar and some tables, but there's a nice outdoor patio and hot dogs & extra-long brats to grab at the turn.
They recently renovated the very large and sloping practice green, but there is no driving range.
The biggest drawback to the course is the fact that it's nestled up to a large landfill. This isn't an issue as long as the wind is not out of the SE.
While there may be nicer courses nearby, this course is much cheaper, making it a great value.
