Golfer Reviews
Great day playing 36 holes
A perfect day playing back to back rounds at Shepherd’s Crook and Thunderhawk golf courses about 10 minutes away in Zion, IL. Both courses lived up to the top ratings for public courses in Illinois. Great conditions, challenging but not punishing courses.
Lived up to the hype
Friends and relatives have been touting this course to me. I finally got there and it lived up to the hype. Great layout , great condition and the greens give all the challenge you need.
Great trac
This course is in top notch condition. Fairways are fantastic, greens are immaculate and quick. You won't find a better way to spend it golfing. Staff is cordial and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about this place..
Oh yea, the GPS on the carts is great too. What a day!!!
Challenging target golf
Overall a nice course, with some blind shots and challenging greens. At times even in the fairway the ground was very hard. There are no bathrooms or water to drink on the course, and ball washers had no liquid in them, so be sure to plan accordingly.
At full price probably would be a pass for a second time visit but if a good deal could be a good option.
Cancellation Policy
I injured my back a few days prior to playing.
Thought I could work through it and play. Could not.
When I went to cancel, I was and hour past the 48 hour rule. Should be a 24 hour policy. Not a GolfNow fan.
