Beechwood Golf Course
This is one of my favorite golf courses in the Midwest. The greens are some of the best, if you like fast greens. It’s an older course with established tree lines. There’s an assortment of risk/reward holes.
Wow! Honestly Shocked!
I am shocked by this course! The price point is incredible for what you get. Staff is great and pace of play is fine. Fairways are like most any Muni and the rough is tough. A lot of risk reward scenarios and I enjoyed myself. THESE GREENS ARE INCREDIBLE. Some of the purest greens I have honestly played at any price point. 10/10 would
recommend to anybody of any skill level.
The course is in great shape. The best I've ever seen it. We played on a late Saturday afternoon, it was still busy but not super slow. I look forward to coming back.

Beechwood golf course classic
A great city course built in the 1930’s
A great layout with good greens. It was pristine in the 70’s but has undergone changes due to extensive overgrowth of large oak and maple trees and numerous storms which has resulted in loss of some trees . The tee boxes are just average but greens are in good condition. The fairways are adequate and well manicured but the rough is thick and the general maintenance is not fantastic. Obviously they need more resources and staff to take out stumps and clean up waste areas. The course has many areas of adjoining wetlands that are creeping in making some areas quite wet. The staff are friendly and everyone there is doing the best they can with limited resources. I’m prejudiced because I played it in it’s heyday but changes to holes 16 and 18 make the finish great(some big trees are gone and esthetically and routing wise is an improvement. # 17 is a par 5 dogleg right that is not my favorite due to low areas and tightness of landing areas—- you’ll see! I think it’s a challenging fun course for a muny. Give it a try!! Thanks to the grounds crew and pga staff.

weather was perfect, course was great and greens were slick.
Great greens.
Nice layout. Great greens. Great value. Lot of sticks and branches and leaves laying around. Stormed the night before so could've been from that. Otherwise no complaints.
I play a lot of courses. SPEAKING AS A SENIOR, WE LOOK FOR COURSE YARDAGE OF 5200 T0 5500 YARDS. LADIES COULD BE 5000.

Great local course.
Beechwood is a great local course. Well-maintained,. Mature course with challenging, but friendly to all player levels. Staff is great also. Kyle the pro is a great guy. I recommend this course to anyone.

Fun track at a solid price
I overall really like playing at this course. We got a hot deal that was a steal for 18 holes. Ended up raining pretty hard and we had to walk the course but it was nice they still let us play that day

Beechwood always in great shape
Played with my Dad and had a great time. The course was in excellent shape. Greens had playable speed. Fairways and rough green and full. Bunkers in good shape. All in all a fun time on the course. Pro shop always friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect as well.
