Burke Golf Course at University of Notre Dame

This course was recently reconfigured and the new layout definitely flows better. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Staff was very friendly and it was easy to check in. We did get a cart since my husband can’t walk long distances anymore. Nice par 31 course to practice or just play a quick round. Great view of ND golden dome and the Basilica spires! Nice afternoon.

MY SON AND I WERE RIDING AND THERE WERE (2) GROUPS OF 5 PLAYING IN FRONT OF US. THE KIDS THAT PLAY THE COURSE HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT GOLF ETIQUETTE BECUASE WE HAD TO WAIT ON EVERY HOLE FOR THEM. WE COULD HAVE PLAYED IN 1:30 MINUTES INSTEAD IT TOOK 2:20 MINUTES. THE SMART THING TO DO IS PLAY IN THE AM WHEN ALL OF THE KIDS ARE IN CLASS, OR SOMEONE SHOULD MONITOR THE COURSE AND NOT LET GROUPS OF 5 HOLD PEOPLE UP. I WILL SAY THAT THE GENTLEMEN BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND WE HAD A GREAT CONVERSATION AT THE END OF OUR ROUND.

I never played. The golf manager said he would cancel this round on my behalf because it was a raining & it was walking only.

The course itself was not bad. But if you book it on golf.now than your paying for booking a tee time. I have never had to pay after arriving to the course after I booked the time on golf now. But for some reason this course made me pay an additional $16 on top of the $13 dollars I had payed on golf.now. As I stated before this is the first time I have had this happen. For the course only being 9 holes and not including a golf cart you can get a way better deal at most other golf courses in the area. Would not recommend for the price

Decent course but no carts. We are Seniors and we prepaid for the round but weren’t told about carts until we got there. The carts were being used Elsewhere. It was very hot and we were exhausted, not fun.

This course if rather long for only 9 holes but was in nice condition. The staff couldn't have any more friendly and helpful. I accidentally left a club on the course. The staff member in the clubhouse allowed me to borrow a cart, even though I did not rent one, to go find my club. Luckily I was able to find my club. I really appreciated this staff member's willingness to assist me. Keep up the good work!!

The course is well kept and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!!

I have been playing this course 30 times a summer for eight years… This particular year I’ve gone out 10 times and 7 tines the round lasts three hours like it’s a dang Marvel movie.

I understand this is a University, but they let the beautiful and vivacious students out five at a time, and sometimes I’ve seen six…

Fun 9 hole course. Definitely worth playing to swing the clubs without much pressure. Walking this course is perfect.

We enjoyed playing golf at Burke Golf Course. The course was great and the greens were in great shape. The greens are tough but they are in great shape. Parking sucks, you have to park and walk with your bag to the small check in spot. They sell candy, chips, soda and a few other things at the starter check in.

We really did love the course though.
