Great day for golf. Course was in great shape staff was very friendly. Due to all the rain we had the course was very soft, but still fun to play. Can't wait to play again.

Course was in very good shape today. Greens had been aerated and sanded couple weeks ago was a little bumpy putting. Whole course was soft due to the wet conditions pass few days. Weather was great for golf cloudy but no rain. Can't wait to play again.

We had two groups of three that played on a Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food available in the clubhouse is very good. Course was fun and well kept. Greens were flawless, especially for a municipal course.

Highly recommended for the money.

Beautiful day for golf on a beautiful course. Greens had been aerated and sanded. But still able to putt. Was informed by Golf Now before I made tee-time.

Elbel remains my favorite course for the money in our area..Course conditions have improved significantly since new management took over. Pace of play was excellent..only had one 2 some behind us, whom we let pass. The staff is extremely friendly..good walking course also..

Nice City course, normally pace of play is good. But for some reason it was pretty slow. Was behind singles walking and not allowing faster groups to play thru. Beautiful fall colors starting to show.

Excellent course. Have played here before, but this is the first time my game was at a level that I could challenge the course, and it did not disappoint. Excellent scenery, the layout is wonderful, a bevy of elevation changes and plenty of tough decisions to make regarding tee and approach shots. Staff was friendly and quick with a smile. Played on a Wednesday morning and the pace was great. The only complaint I would have, and I'm nitpicking here, is that at some points the rough has some dirt patches. Hit it there and it's like trying to hit approach shots off a countertop.

Elbel is a great place to play. From the staff to the course and the wildlife you may be lucky enough to enjoy while playing, this place is truly a gem. I will be so sad if they ever do away with this course. We play it as often as we can, and always enjoy it. The people there are super friendly and the greens there are fantastic.

The driving range was poor! Usually you have Designated hitting areas----NOTHING!

Pro shop personnel were short--- not very friendly!

Asked where the range was---NO SIGNS! Where is #1 tee or #10 tee????

On the course NO DIRECTIONAL signs!

Layout was excellent with a lot of doglegs! Need to play more than once to find out where to hit to!

I exspected better even when it is at a public park!

I have played a few and they were much better.

Not enough help around! Cart guys????? Clean your clubs???? No bag drop!!!

This course has the potential to be a beautiful course. Players that don't respect the game, follow golfer and the course make this course less than desirable. Players that take huge divots on the tee boxes and no attempt to fix them, as well as in the fairways. No attempt to fix all marks on the greens make this course abused. Trash cans over filled with beer cans and it's your typical parks department course. This could be a South Bend gem. Needs managed and rangers on the course.
