Course is challenging, greens were excellent
Fantastic weather, course is great condition all around, played well...
Nice course for the price!
Played from the tips. It added some extra challenges not encountered on previous visits from the white & grey tees. Lots of mature trees lining the fairways. Greens were really nice and provided a good roll to the golf ball. All around nice course for the money. We grabbed the hot buy for $25 per player.
Great experience
Beautiful day...course in great shape and plenty of challenging holes..Great price through golf now just icing on the cake..lots of dog legs and the greens seem pretty fast overall.
It's always good to practice
This course is a good practice course. Get out and swing your clubs. The greens this day were fairly fast.
Dogleg country
If you don't mind playing 12 or 13 doglegs you will enjoy this. Several undulations, a few blind shots, good greens. The tee boxes were in rough shape the day I played. I would like to play a few more times to see the consistency.

Very good experience. The course is very interesting and is in good condition. The pace of play was slow.
For $11 I'll be here all summer!
Course has a tricky layout but now that I know it... It shouldn't be too hard next time. Great course for the GolfNow discount!!
Beautiful course
I had a blast out at elbel. I received a very good deal off the app golf now. The only complaint I have is I wish they would have told us before we bought the tee times that we were only able to play the front 9 twice due to a tournament playing starting later. I still had a wonderful time and plan on returning but just would of liked to have seen the whole course.

Played the course with my daughter and joined two others. Course was in good condition and greens were excellent and fair. Will play this course again when I come down from Detroit.
Always enjoyable
I make the effort to play here a couple times a year and always enjoy myself. Course condition are usually very good being a muni course. Front nine has several holes that are severe doglegs to one direction or another. Back nine is more straightforward but still challenging.
interesting course
first time playing course, though its early in season greens were in real good shape not a lot of aeration marks, fairways were ok, course is somewhat challenging hilly and turns but it was fun, i would probably play it agian
Course was in good condition, especially the greens. Fun and challenging layout.
With its many trees and ravine and water hazards, this is a good test for any golfer. Elbel offers a fun and challenging golf experience.
Best golf value in South Bend
Play here allot and never get tired of it. Opened up the trees on 1st, 18th holes so there are great views across the course. Quiet country setting, very relaxing. Give Elbel a try!
Nice layout. Some very beautiful scenery and nicely wooded.
Had a great time,, the South Bend Park District gets an A+ for adding some great improvements to the course. Perfect for an average golfer, nice challenge. For the low handicaps, move to the back tees, nice distances.
