Widgi Creek Golf Club

The fairways and greens were in great shape. Widgi is challenging but not so difficult that it takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

From the layout, condition and weather -- to the service -- a great outing. Perfect early summer weather. Terrific value. I'd play there over and over again if I lived in the area!

Wasn’t sure where I was going to play while in Bend and happened upon this course. Got a good deal on Golf now and the course did not disappoint. Cut through big tall pines the layout was amazing and the greens and shape of course was excellent. Hope I can play again. Don’t be afraid to lay up on multiple holes.

A congenial welcome in the pro shop followed by an efficient and easy check in. Forty minutes on the range and it was off to the races.

The first hole provides the golfer with a quick taste of what is to come, requiring a well placed fairway metal just left of centre to leave a reasonably clear shot into a green that slopes hard from back to front. This is a gem of a course whose fairways wind their way through tall mature trees, is peppered with several water features, smooth rolling greens and testing bunkers that all contribute to make this a course not to be overlooked. Hole 5, a short par 3 and Hole 18, the short closing hole are great fun.

Suitable for those less proficient golfers, Widgi Creek will provide ample opportunity for the experienced golfer to sharpen their game.

Spring has sprung at Widgi. Nice layout, a couple of tough holes, but overall fair. They’ve scrambled some from winter conditions to get the course playable. Greens have been rolled pretty well but a lot of splochy dead spots. Expect better conditions about June.

This is a great course. It's too bad nobody knows how to rake bunkers or fix ball marks.

I have played this course several times and it remains one of my favorites in Central Oregon. That being said it would’ve been nice to know when I was booking that it was recently aerated. It makes putting fairly difficult but I more than likely would’ve booked the round anyway. The staff is amazingly friendly as well.

Nice course and friendly staff. Beautiful club house and restaurant with great patio/deck seating.

The greens had recently been sanding and were slow.

In today’s world I just don’t buy the excuse well it’s just stacked up on the course. If you are so afraid to put a few people off your course for inconsiderate slow pay, you are missing the big picture of the six to eight groups behind those people. Wake up do the right thing!
