At Widgi Creek Golf Club, you'll discover the most comprehensive golf, sports and fitness environment in the Northwest. Start with a full eighteen holes of championship golf that meander beneath huge pines along the rim of the dramatic Deschutes River Canyon. Add practical, hands-on tips from one of the area's finest staffs of golf professionals.
Designed by Robert Muir Graves in 1989, Widgi Creek is over 6900 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course is a challenge to every level of player. Characterized by fast undulation greens, it is considered one of the top 5 courses in the area. Golf Digest called Widgi Creek, "the sleeper in Central Oregon" and Golf Magazine called it a "must play". Widgi Creek will always be considered to be among the best maintained in the area.
After the round, relax at The Grill or shop the fully stocked pro shop. The Grill provides tasty light fair with daily specials for lunch and dinner. Both indoor and outdoor facilities are available with a marvelous expanded outdoor deck that looks out over the golf course. Exceptional banquet facilities (seating to 150) are available with specialized menus.

From checking in to getting a coffee refill at the finish the staff were outstanding., Also the course was in perfect condition. it's a must play course for the value

My Favorite Course Now
Why five stars? 1) it's beautiful!; 2) The layout is both fun and challenging (especially the back nine); 3) The staff is very friendly; 4) It is clean (trash and recycling cans on almost (maybe all) holes; 5) It is well maintained; 6) They have beverage dispensers throughout the course and a beverage cart circulating around all 18 holes; and 7) The price is very reasonable! What more can I say? We're playing it again today!

Great spring day
Widgi Creek is a beautiful course with several challenging holes. Multiple elevation changes, some water hazards and lots of scenic tree lined fairways. The course is always well maintained and a good value, I’ll definitely be back.

A challenging course with a great feel !
This is one of the best courses in central Oregon. It is in the top 4 in my opinion! When you play widgi you truly get the golf experience other courses lack, which makes for some good golf to be played. Love this course even when it eats me up!

Cold
My wife and I were the only ones almost playing the course. It was 35 degrees almost 36, windy. We struggled, but we played the whole 18. Can’t wait til it’s 80 and sunny.

Great course
Widgi Creek is one of our favorite courses to play when we are in central Oregon. Although we are in the midst of fall weather, the course was in very good condition and we really enjoyed the crisp fresh air today.

I did it!

Grinding to a halt
This is our first time playing at Widgi Creek. We played the front nine with an employee and his son. Nice to have people with course knowledge with us. They dropped out at the turn due to the pace, which only got s-l-o-w-e-r as the round went on. We were a twosome behind a foursome with no one in front of them. They could have easily let us through but they didn't. We saw a marshal twice on the back nine and all he said was "it's slow today." Ugh! The course is lovely, greens are a bit slow but i would think twice or three times about playing here again.
Thank you for the review and we appreciate the feedback as it helps us grow and do better. We have a new and improved starter/marshal program in place this year. We apologize for the pace of play but hope that you will come back out with us again soon and enjoy the beautiful conditions!
Good experience.
Great course. Course was in top shape my wife went with me and she was a little intimidated due to not playing a lot. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only thing I would complain about is the cart girl only came by once and that was on the 17th hole. Other then that I would play this course again and again.
