Widgi Creek Golf Club

we had a good time, the only problem was pace of play. We caught up to a threesome on the 8th and had to wait every hole. no Marshalls on the course. We were 4 people walking. Anyway we will go back.

Great course in good condition. Greens are wicked which makes play interesting. Friendly to walkers and women with several tees and a variety of yardages to choose from. We visit Bend every summer from Arizona and love to play this course. Lots of variety, big trees, and nice people.

We played five courses in the Bend area (Tetherow, Pronghorn, Brasada Ranch, Crosswater, and Widgi) and Widgi was our final round. It's a fun layout and by far the tightest course we played of the five. It would serve you well to get a course map before you tee off. I lost a lot of shots just because I was not sure where to aim. Also, bring your 3 and /or 5 wood. You will need it off the tee.

Challenging greens, bring your 3-wood for accuracy off the tees, lovely setting with friendly staff and good value, especially for the afternoon round.

Nice challenging course, but the problem with recreational golf and hooking up with other people, played with 3 players that couldn't break 110 and looking for balls all day

Great value for the money---afternoon golf is well worth the price and the people, facilities and course are all top notch. The only issue was time of play as the "players assist" could have managed some slow moving groups. That said, I will definitely be back as we enjoyed the proximity to Bend and the value. Thanks.

I've played Widgi several times and it always proves to be a challenge. Lots of trees force you to stay on track or pay the price. If you like tree lined course, this is one not to miss. Tough greens. Very fast, and a decent amount of water/bunkers. Not a pristine course, but nice.

Enjoyed this course. Fast greens. Need to play with correct club selection to scire well.

Greens were excellent. The course design was among tall pines. Fairways offered challenges with ball above or below your feet. Will definately play on my next visit

Course was in fairly good shape for early spring. Pace was a little slow, but that happens on a Saturday when the sun comes out in Bend.

For the most part Widgi is in good shape this early in our golf season...better than some down in town.
Greens are in very good shape and fairways will get better with watering in the next couple of weeks!

Booked a hot deal time, very good rate, but…when I arrived I found they had switched to temporary greens, and two holes were closed to play :( which I was not expecting. Played anyway, paired up with two very nice players who knew the course well…we had a fun round on a very nice, mild and sunny late November afternoon. The course does not have distant views of mountains, etc, but is very pretty, being routed through tall pines with water coming into play on several holes. I felt like it would be a good challenge playing regulation tee to green golf. Very well maintained condition, greens looked terrific, and are well protected with bunkering. This is a very walkable course. Homes line many fairways, but are set back at reasonable distances. Look forward to playing again when the entire course is open!

Nice course. Large greens with plenty of breaks. Good condition. Fairly easy to walk. Pace of play a bit slow.

The course was in exceptional shape for November golf, and with the inconsistant weather this time of year the course was empty, allowing us to play 27 holes in four hours due to the unlimited play!

play Widgi fairly often compared to other courses--overall well maintained--long(too long) par 5's--could change lengths--par 4's short, par 5's too long.

The course at Widgi Creek was enjoyable, nice wide fairways, generous greens. Greens were moderately difficult to putt. Watch out for the deep greenside bunkers.

Widgi Creek is one of my favorites in Bend. It's a fun challenge and the Fall colors were beautiful.

Had a great time, the course is in excellent fall condition. Widgi is a fun but challenging course, rewarding good shots without severely penalizing poor ones. Pace of play was great.
