Widgi Creek Golf Club

This course runs through forrest and is in perfect shape greens arefirm and fast with hardly a blemish one of my most enjoyable rounds of golf

My wife and I played it on a windy, rainy day and still enjoyed the beautiful setting of the course and the lay out. The course was in very good condition and was a fair challenge off the right set of tees. When we come back to Bend next year, Widgi Creek will be on our must play list.

A great value and a pretty course. Would play again when we are in the area.

This course was a blast to play! I didn't have much time to enjoy the extras like the driving range which looked as well maintained as the rest of the course, or the chipping green which I noticed had three different practice bunkers around it (very nice!) and I wish I had had time to use. The course was in wonderful condition, the greens were excellent. Also they have like 5 sets of tees, and on the scorecard they have combined sets, like Black/Blue (half black tees, half blue tees) to essentially give 9 different course length options. I played the Blue tees as this was comparable in length to my home course and I had a fantastic time! The people were great too. The Marshal told me he was trying to hold off the rain that was threatening, and he managed to do it too! Very impressive! Lol. The only thing lacking was a course map. Anytime I visit Bend, a trip to Widgi Creek is in order!

Fun to play once. Price was good. Typical older course. Could use a little attention. Very narrow. Lots of trees.

Widgi is like many central Oregon courses, tight but fair. The greens are in great shape for this time of year, and roll very true. You really need to think your way around this course.

The people who play this course seem to be on the wealthier side. I didn't feel too welcomed there.
For the amature, each hole had it challenges. Some holes were pretty to see. Overall I had a good experience.

I have always enjoyed this "gem" of a golf course in the golf wonderland of Bend Oregon. Beautiful views, great course design, challenging holes mixed with easier ones and very nice greens. Played from the "blue" tees, but newbies to this course may be better served playing from the "member" tees. Will look forward to playing it again in the future.

The course design is OK , back 9 are much more interesting also more challenging but at overall little impressive hole left in memory . And the marshal is very helpful . Not in premium category but still a good choice per accessibility ( 10 minutes drive from downtown ) and the rate I paid.

This was a great course and excellent value as compared to the courses in Sun River. The course was in excellent condition, fair and fun to play. I highhy recommend this course.

Sadistic pin placement on the day I played made for an enjoyable, challenging round of golf. Honest golf must be played here (must keep ball in fairways). Thick rough makes you pay for mistakes.

The course is fair, what you see is what you get. Good track for juniors, not too many forced carries. Food and beverage is not their strong suit.

Played Widgi Creek at least three times and had 3 great rounds. I'm not a long hitter so the forward green tees were perfect for me but the course was also a challenge for my husband who has a 10 handicap!! This course was my favorite of the many we played while on vacation in the Bend, Oregon area!! I would recommend this course to anyone who loves the game!!

Very nice course, greens and fairways in very good shape. Nice combination of different holes, but a very tight driving course. Bring your best driving game or suffer the consequences.

Course was in good condition greens excellent. The holes ranged in difficulty and offered a variety of options on choice of play. Pars birdies are there rewarding good play for a 15 handicapper.

As usual I had difficulty in staying in the fairways off drives. The holes have their share of hard doglegs with fairways that have few level spots for second shots. Greens have several levels which makes puts more difficult. Par three on the back nine over 200 yards over water was the bright spot for me, 3 wood within six feet for a birdie.

Well kept course with some challenging greens. Beautiful area. We walked but the holes are little distance between greens and next tee box.

Great Value, excellent course!! Cannot wait to play it again!

Enjoyed this course tremendously. I belong to a club which I felt couldn't be outdone. I am afraid the professional staff, courteous friendly assistance, impeccable care from tee box to green, and beautiful setting have me thinking. The club house is gorgeous.
My only complaint would be for those not familiar with the course, and that being that one hole is a quick, blind dog leg left, which careens down into a deep valley before rising back up to the green. It was difficult to judge the distance and my partner and I both tried to cut the corner. Both of our balls ended up long. The resulting search slowed down our pace of play for a bit. If only we had known!
I don't know why, but the girl's said the bathroom was outstanding!
