The course is well marked with yardages, but I recommend getting a yardage book. A good variety of tee boxes helped our group enjoy a fun and competitive round. The Golf Now price was outstanding.

Terrible staff, marshal would bother us every 4 holes. Said we were playing slow. Finished round in 4 hours and 30 mins. We waited multiple holes for the group in front of us yet we were the slow ones. Course is beautiful, I won't go back mainly because of the staff. I have no problems with keeping pace and respect the pace of play expectations of course but this place was a joke.

The course is challenging due to the tree lined fairways ans the large undulating greens. Pin Placement on the large greens could lead to many long and difficult putts.

Got in on the unlimited golf for 30 bucks, played 30 holes and had an amazing time! The course is very well maintained, and as an average golfer was constantly challenged by the next hole.. Go Play Here!!

The course takes efficient use of its landscape and its natural surroundings. A lot of fun, plays tougher than the scorecard projects it should which was a nice surprise. There were only two things that I would have liked to see improved upon.

--- First: As a first timer to this golf course and playing with other first timers to the course as well, it would have been nice that on the scorecards provided by the course there was an overall layout to the course or each hole individually. There were some holes that you didn't know which way the fairway turned. Or where creeks and ponds, and sand traps were exactly located, made for some frustrating moments.

-- Second: Wish the cart girl would have made it around more than once. My friend and I walked the course. She only came by once and that wasn't until we finished on the 14th hole.

Having never been there before, next time I would play it a little differently. Coming off winter the greens are slow and need some attention. Fairways and rough are in good shape, a little hard.

Very nice course. Beautful layout. Pace of play was above average. If you don't like trees you may not find this to your taste. the only problem was winter damage on the greens, severe on some greens. would recommend this course to all. Beginners might find it a challenge.

Had a blast. Early season greens were pretty good. As can be expected. Rest of the course was great.

If you miss to the right a lot, work on your 'getting out of the trees' shot ahead of time. The greens are designed to make you pay attention to your putts, lots of undulations. It's a very nice walking course and a good test of skill for most amateurs; you need some strategic thinking and bring some 'straight' with you because there are a couple of pretty tight fairways. Very enjoyable but this is a serious course.

OMG, Monday was such a great day at Widgi. The weather was great, Low 50's. The course was dry and the fairways were amazing. The greens were slightly slower than I thought they would be, but overall, it was outstanding. There were some tough holes, especially number 13. It's a risk/reward hole. Over the top of the trees on the left corner and you are set, miss right, especially if you hit long, and par is impossible. Looking forward to playing it again.

Considering the time of year the course was in excellent shape. Great layout, lots of fun to play. Highly recommend.

What this course lacks in distance (white tees) it more than makes up for it with tight, tree-lined fairways and fast undulating greens. Accuracy is a must as well as having a good putting game. Pin placement on the signature par-3 11th hole can make this one heck of a tough hole. Staff is always friendly and the patio deck is a great place to have a snack and a cold beer after the round. This is a "must play" coourse while in the Bend area.
