Beautifully groomed course, friendly and helpful staff,

challenging to all let’s, and pace of play was better than average.

This is a nice, playable course that has its challenges. Pace was slow as it was the first sunny day after some time of rain so packed. Range balls very expensive and very few water options so bring your own cup, ice and extra water. Walkable course as well.

Superb condition, active ranger kept pace in line, friendly helpful staff, especially the starter (Larry) and the ranger who’s name I did not catch.

Narrow at times, always challenging, great day.

Except for pace of play, it was all good, took 4 1/2 hrs+ to get through.

A course all the locals seem to prefer among the moderately priced $55-$95 public courses.

Fun and challenging and usually very well maintained.

The only disappointments were that several holes were using temporary greens and there were not green (red tees) as indicated on the scorecard for a senior woman.

However, I played the senior tees and totally enjoyed the round because I was able to hit medium and short irons to many of the par 4 and 5 greens in regulation. The fairways are moderately tight because of many bushes and trees on both sides of each fairway.

The weather was perfect only for the day we played; however, the week was cold and windy. Next year I will wait until May or Jun to guarantee some nice weather.

We had a great time golfing. It was winter, so we had an hour frost delay. Pretty cold in the shade , but warmed up nicely in the sun. Course was in great shape, but we did have three temps. Overall, another fun round in the Bend area.

Played Widgie on March 29th and the fairways and greens were in the best shape that I have seen them this early in the season. There were a few greens cordoned off for maintenance with alternate greens in play but everything from the T's to the pins was in just fantastic condition. Kudos to the maintenance staff for all the hard work.
