Great course
The staff there always takes pride in the condition of their course. From the head pro to the maintenance crew. Be prepared for many hills and very few flat holes. The greens are slow up hill and very fast downhill. It’s a good challenge. The worst thing about the course is it is situated on Painter road. This road is one and a half lanes wide with many blind turns. Take it slow coming and going…
Beautiful Course
Tons of elevation, beautiful layout. Pretty short, even average golfers can play the tips. Fairways are in good shape, greens roll pretty consistent speed and line.

Good Friday was a Good Friday.
Weather, course, people were awesome. Pace of play was slower than normal but with great weather it was okay. Playing again soon.
Great even through the fog
Very foggy start but the starter was awesome. He let my son and I start out and it was great. We we first off the tees and we appreciated that tremendously.

It was a great experience. It was really foggy yesterday and we were delayed. The starter was awesome and he explained it. He let us go out ahead of the rest and it was nice. Pace was awesome. Beautiful and have plans already to play it again.
Hickory Sticks review
Cool place. Lots of hills that allow for some really cool hole designs and tee boxes. Do not even consider walking this course. It didn’t take too much away from the experience, but the cart path may have been the worst I’ve ever seen. Be prepared to drive your cart slow. Front desk attendant was very nice and respectful.
Fun Course
Hickory Sticks is a great course to play. It has a good variety of challenging holes to play. The staff is phenomenal!
Beautiful, well maintained course
This is a well set up and well maintained course. The holes were challenging without being overly difficult for a high handicap golfer like myself. The course is very peaceful with little road noise. Will definitely play again.
