Great value
Go to course for the price. Extremely friendly staff and pace of play is pretty consistent. Fairways are typically well maintained but the cart paths are a bit rough. Would recommend to anyone from beginner to advanced golfers.
Great course to try out
Great course to play. Was recommended to play by my brother in law. Challenging holes. Hardest is seeing where some drives will go over hills but will definitely play again when on this side of the state
It’s Longview
It’s been really dry around here so given that, the course is in decent shape. Pace was decent until I caught up to Jack and Arnie on the back side. Why is it that anytime you get behind a guy that carries a towel with him to the green, you know the guy is going to be slow? Anyway, it’s Longview so don’t go in expecting a quick round or perfect conditions just enjoy the value.
Longview
We haven’t had much rain, so it was very dry!!! Greens were still soft, but just about everything else was burned up…. Didn’t look like they had been watering regularly.
I have always enjoyed playing Longview, as it has a nice layout and is pretty challenging.
Best Shape in Years!
The course was in the best shape I've seen it in multiple years. The greens ran true but not too fast. The pace of play was a little slow. Still, it was a good day on a good course.
They can do better, lack of TLC on this course.
I've been to this course several times past year or so and over all a beautiful corse, nice fairways, goomed rough, and now for the BAD the Tee boxes were brutal too tough to even set a tee as they were mostly dirt littered with a massive amount of broken tees, I went on a wensday at 10am and the entire area was covered in broken tees showing they dont clean the boxes regularly, next the greens were just covered in divots which on some holes made putting difficult, lastly was the amount of still water sitting next to the last couple holes smelled so bad as if you just walked past a sewage plant while putting on the green.

Course is challenging BUT course management needs to be improved ! Neglect to cart-path , teeboxes and bridges over water ! Two stars
Course has been poorly maintained for years ! Cart path , tee boxes and bridges ! Irrigation issues with old inground pipes ! Poor man’s course with high green fee’s ! Bad management ! Old country club course !

That bridge is so bad, If they don't do something, someone is going to get hurt and sue them hard. They've had plenty of warnings now. I have an outing there in a few weeks and I'm already trying to figure out how to go around that, I don't even want to attempt that bridge again.
