Sunday pretty day for golf
Greens are great, smooth and fast, fairways still working to come in, but with warm weather they will. Only issue we had was some members (5 some) jumped in front of us on the back 9 and slowed the pace of play...this should not happen
Pouring down rain
So much water on ourse it was virtually unplsyable
Early season
The fairways were still brown but the greens were in decent shape. Overall I say the course was in good shape, had a real good time and it wasn't crowded.
Mixed emotions
The course was in fair shape except there isn't one bucket of sand in all the sand traps combined. Overall the course played pretty short but was a fun day of cold weather golf. My wife and I played for $15 each including cart by using Golf Now hot deals. It was well worth that price. I would have been very disappointed had I paid more. Cart paths are in pretty rough shape too.
cold weather golf
course was playable, had a couple of holes that were out of play, ice and limbs on the greens, but other than that it was a nice and warm day to play
Falling apart - dangerous
This is one of the worst golf courses I have ever played. Every component fo the facility requires attention, from the clubhouse to the cartpaths to the 'sand' bunkers. The cart I was issued after requesting one 3 times had inoperable brakes resulting in an interesting ride down the grinch hill on hole #6. It is was unsafe and will lead to injuries to someone at some point. The infrastructure was not only unkempt, it was downright unsafe. Folks could get hurt out there as the cartpaths supporting foundation have erroded in some interesting spots as you weave through some wooded areas. Save your money and your life! Stay away. I would not go back if they offered it to me for free. There are too many other good options in town for the same green fee.
The Staff of this course is the best
In years past, it was almost impossible to get me to play here because of the closeness of the houses on a few fareways. But over time the worry over these few holes was outweighed because the staff working there is so friendly, from the guys getting the carts for you, the Pro shop staff, the Bartenders, I have also ran into Melody and Jack out there a few times, and they are always eager to help with anything you need. The course in fun, the Staff takes this place over the top.
One of our favorite courses
The course itself is in pretty good shape. A few greens have some disease issues, however. Fairways and rough are fairly well maintained. The facilities are in need of some maintenance and repairs. Cart paths are very rough and in need of re-surfacing. Clubhouse is in need of paint and repair. Golf carts seem adequately maintained, however. A challenging and fun course to play for the price. Some very picturesque holes on the front nine especially.
Decent course....
Dirt bunkers..no sand, no rakes, but otherwise an enjoyable course.
Good value for GolfNow price
Course has poorly maintained cart paths as noted by others. Fairways had some weed patches but overall offered fair lies for shot placement. Green were interesting and fairly even in speed. Tee boxes need to be rotated better to allow tees to regrow. Traffic was light on the course and allowed for enjoyable play even though my son was playing only his second round of golf ever. Carts were not cleaned out by staff prior to our use.
Course was in pretty good shape, cart "paths" need work.
Most of the course was in pretty good shape but this is not the same place from a few years ago. Cart "paths" would remind a vet of driving through a combat area - very rough. Most sand traps are missing a critical element - sand.
WORK NEEDED!
The course is in need of some work. The cart paths are full of pot holes and just missing in some areas. I played early in the morning so I expected some moisture. Moisture is an understatement. The place was down right soggy. You could hear the slosh of water under your feet as you walked in the fairway or around the greens. On an up note, the bunkers were nicely raked and the greens were well taken care of.
Needs help
Course still not maintained. Wouldn't play here for more than $15 per round.
what happened to this course?
check-in great; that's where it ended. I asked if it was crowded & the reply was that all were on the back about finished; there was a foursome on the first green; then 3 on #2 and $ on#4. I was a single !!! the course needs alot of attention !!!
Course needs work
This course was enjoyable, but has some major weed issues that requires attention on fairways and around the greens. The pro shop could use some work as well.
no better than municipal courses
This was my first time playing here. Overall, the course was in fair condition as far as the fairways and greens were concerned. Tee boxes are terrible. None of the sand traps were raked from the previous day rains. Yardage markers, other than sprinkler heads, were non-existent. Signage for hole information and directions to the next hole were scarce at best. Fees were higher than municipal and shouldn't be! At least until they do some work to it. Poor experience
improved
I played here in 2010 and the course was a disaster. today course was much improved, still weedy in spots but greens mostly true. a fair # of tee boxes needed work. A lot of wholes look similar which no amount of maintenace will change.
not worth the money
Pro shop attendant was late. Was then sent of the back 9 were the 11 green was flooded and unable to be played. Some sand bunkers looked liked they had not been worked in years, barely any sand. Was not pleased with the course, service, or money that i had to pay for the experience. Would not recommend this course to anybody.
