Henry County Country Club

Henry County continues to improve. The course conditions were fantastic - well kept greens, new sand in bunkers, fairways and consistency across all cuts of rough. Worth the short drive from Louisville.

THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE TEE TO GREEN. WOULD RECCOMEND THIS COURSE FOR ANY LEVEL OF GOLFER

Very nice course with great greens. the Fairways are a little hairy and spoty in places. Good course layout and somewhat challanging.

You will not be mad that you made the drive to play this course. You just might keep it in your rotation.

Course was in terrific shape as usual A++..only down side was it was recently aerated but still played great ...always like playing here wish it was closer to my house

The wind was bad, the greens had just been worked, but the course was great. I have played courses before that the greens were not in as good of shape as these fairways! The course is laid out well and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Well placed bunkers and water came into play just enough to keep it interesting. The paths were good and the carts appeared to be new. The staff was helpful and food was reasonably priced. I do wish they would expand the beer selection. I have played there many times before and will continue to play there. One of my favorites.

Fairways are excellent and the greens roll true. Plenty of challenging traps & ponds.

I live about 45min. from HCCC and play there several times a year. That should tell you something. There are pleanty of courses on the way to HCCC but this one is well worth the trip. Course is always in great condition. Pace of play is always 4hrs. or less on Friday afternoons. The course has a wide variety of holes both short and long. Greens are very puttable. The only hole I can't figure out how to play is #18. There's a stand of large trees right in the middle of the fairway. If you go left the fairway tilts left down to a creek. If you go right it's a much longer second shot. The obvious answer (if you can pull it off) is go left with a big fade, or right with a draw. In any event, you'll be glad you made the trip to play this little gem.

Oh, and the staff is awesome!!!

I love this course. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. It is a little far out for me from Louisville but well worth it. I found a hot deal on golf now for $14 with cart!!! Only down side was the pace of play. Foursome was really slow in front of us and would not let us play through. It was just me and one of my buddies. I guess they had league play going on. I thought it would have been kind of empty for a Tuesday morning. I definitely will play this course again.

Staff went above and beyond to make us feel great and were very helpful

Course is always in good shape. Greens are true and fairways in great shape. Long challenging par 3s. Staff always nice. Great food and drinks at a reasonable price.

Course and greens were in good shape. The cart paths were in need of repair in certain areas. I finished 18 holes within 3 1/2 hours, they let me go out by myself. After 2 holes, the foursome in front of me let me play through. It was wide open until the back nine. It was really piling up. If they would have paired up the singles and the twosomes, pace of play would have been better. Overall a nice course and I look forward to playing it again.

At first glance the course does not appear to be anything exceptional. However, once we teed off, we found the fairways to be outstanding, the greens were excellent, and the course had a very interesting and challenging layout. We will definitely return.

I brought my normal foursome 40 miles because of the great reviews. What a joke!

The course was in rough shape - perhaps they're spending maintenance funds on buying positive online reviews. Staff and food was nothing great either. Very disappointing.

I would play here more often if I could. Great value. Round was 3hrs, 15min on a Thursday afternoon. Long, challenging par 3's. Loved the course.

Course was in excellent shape, particularly the greens. Rolling hills and lots of elevation change. Played with the Club Members and had a great time. Well worth the trip and the money. Nothing fancy about the Club House or the driving range. It's about the golf and making friends. Very enjoyable experience. Certainly need the local knowledge to get around the course successfully.

Very nice people - and good chicken sandwich. Course is ok - greens pretty slow, fairways in ok condition, tee boxes kind of rough. Basically, one click up from from the public parks courses around Louisville. Very choppy layout - nearly teeing off over other's heads on a couple of holes....

Course provides challenges for all levels of play. Fairways are in excellent shape as are the bunkers and greens. Bunkers seem brand new. Fairways are better than most courses I have played in the area.
