Excellent condition, greens in great shape
Overall highly recommended. Affordable, even on weekends especially for the condition of the course to be as nice as it is.
I 100% get why they only sell Lexington Brewing Company Beer because the owners of the Brewery also own the course…however; it would be nice is they could also offer the basics (bud light, Miller light, coors light etc.)
Unfortunately because the don’t sell any of those multiple golfers bring their own beer despite the legality.
Could use service, especially on busy and hot days.
Nice course Pace of Play is really bad.
Nice course but pace of play is really bad. No water on the course and long waits between swings. I’m not a complainer and like to play slow but within rhythm. Very very very slow. A lot of singles was not able to play through and very rare you see a foursome. No commercial beer just in house with only two selections. No water on the course was a big let down. It was hot and the wait was just miserable. Nice staff and course tho.

Connemara
I love this course, one of my favorites around Lexington, challenging but fair, must drive the ball well and keep it in play in order to score. Superintendent has gotten this place in great shape for it to be early in the season.

Consistent quality
I have always enjoyed playing this course! Pace of play was slow, but the course upkeep definitely took care of that issue. The clubhouse was closed by 6pm on a Saturday and there wasn’t much to choose from as far as non-alcoholic drinks and food. But the golf was great!

Had to wait significant time to start the back nine. When we got to hole 10 the starter there told us we were supposed to start our round on hole 10 and finish on the front 9. He had everyone is supposed to start on the back 9. I asked how in the world I was supposed to know that. He said that I was supposed to know that. We had to wait to let several groups ahead of us to start their round. Also there needs to be greater ranger presence on the course. A single player in front of use hit 2 balls every hole in front of us waiting on the tee box while he hit. His wife who did not even have clubs hit some tee shots as well

Beautiful grass, nice people, just aerated the greens, so putting wasn't fun. But nothing to complain about haha.

Amazing course for the money
What can I say: been playing here my entire life and the course conditions are amazing compared to other public courses in the area and the price is cheaper than most city courses in Lexington. Highly recommend to play at least once!
