Connemara
This course is well worth the money. It feels like a private course even though it is public. The only downside of the course is that there was no cart girl and not a lot of shade. However, the rough, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in great condition. I plan to play here more often. It’s like a little taste of Irish golf in Lexington.
Golf Now regrets
The communication between GN and the courses need improvement. Tee time was in the last part of a outing.

TOO CROWDED
I love this course. I play it 10-15 times a summer. But idk if the course is trying to make money back from the pandemic or what, but it was SO crowded and congested. I didn’t even finish the 18 and left on hole 5 (started on back 9). Was not enjoyable may not be back this summer. Course was in great shape though!

Great time
Fairways were very nice. Better than I’ve seen in a while

Great value
Greens and FC airways were in great shape and restrooms were clean and had plush toilet paper. No water on the course and pro shop was closed but running from a card table in the restaurant . Shop attendant not too friendly but Mike the starter and a greens keeper were super friendly. Holes 5-7 have such great character but most other holes are a bit boring.

Beautiful course
Nicely layout, good conditions. the only thing that I saw that was slightly negative was that the divots on the tee boxes need to be filled in other than that of course was an excellent shape.

Good Decent Course
This course was well kept and definitely has challenging holes with slanted greens.

Hilly layout with some blind tee dhots
The course was in good condition but the greens were slowed by intermittent rains. Could have used a course layout booklet. Scorecards had minimal info. Good value!

Course is great, staff is rude.
I have played this course 2.5 times in the last couple weeks. The course is in great shape and really fits my skill level. I want to become a member here because I only live 7 minutes away from this course, but I cannot get past the extremely rude Ranger/Cart staff at Connemara.
In the 2.5 rounds I have played there this year, I have had 5 different experiences of the Ranger/Cart staff being very rude to me personally. One of these staff members actually told me that I should just find a new place to go play golf.
I have also witnessed the Ranger/Cart staff being very rude to other customers a few times as well, including watching one of the Rangers have a screaming match with a customer on the 10th tee box. I have played with 3 different 1st year members and they also have complaints about the Ranger/Cart staff. These 1st year members expressed to me they may be dropping their membership after this year due to the rudeness of the staff.
I have not met any of the Pros at this course, but I did hear from all 3 members I have played with that the Pros are extremely friendly and helpful at Connemara.
