Great Track For Price
This course throws up incredible deals. Its kept in good shape, has some tough holes. There is a par 3 on the back 9 (#16 I believe) that is in pretty rough shape. Other than that, friendly staff and cant beat it for the price.
Course in fair condition. Greens need work.
We played this course in the middle of the summer when it was very dry. Several of the greens had been nearly completely lost due to the heat and dry conditions.
Fairways were decent but approach areas were in bad shape.
There are only a few bunkers but they are not very well maintained.
If played with a discounted fee the course is an ok value.
The best course for the money in the Louisville area.
The golf course was in great shape except for a temp. green on #16. Pace of play was excellent. The food at the course was very good and priced right.
Good value
Good value if you book through golf now. Weissinger is fun to play. #16 is in awful shape but the rest of the course is well maintained. All things considered, it is among my favorite courses in central Kentucky.
Bad
I played this course on Friday morning and had the worst experience that you can have. We had a group behind us hitting into us and a very unpleasant group in front. On the turn we ask the group in front of us to let us play through because a couple of their guys were in the clubhouse and the fairway was open and they started yelling telling us off. Then told us to speak to the pro if we had a problem so I did and the pro told us that the were members and that we should go play the front again. I m sorry if I pay to play a course I want to play the whole thing not two rounds on the front. The fairways were in bad shape but the greens were good they must have just seeded them because there were plow marks in the fairways.
