Ok course
The course was being aerated so the conditions were not good.
Bowie
The course is in good shape. The greens are hard right now. Great pace and staff. One of my favorites.
Ok for the money
Not bad, but the cart path was horrendous. The bridge going to green is a death trap.
Value for Money
The course was in good condition considering it was April the greens were excellent it was a good test of golf.
We had an enjoyable game
Great value for money
Course in good condition for the time of year. The greens were excellent only downfall no snack bar at turn but it was April
Back and Better than Before
I have played this course for many years. A recent management change has resulted in some very nice improvements. Adjustments have been made to how the greens are maintained and cut. The greens known locally as the slowest around, are rolling out in a manner I have never seen here in 30 years of play.
The fairways and such still show the impact of many years without a manageable irrigations system.
Many of the former employees have been retained. The new management team led by "TJ" are making improvements as they can. Recently rented a bunch of newer carts, several "annoyance and poorly maintained bunkers" are being removed and should improve an already decent pace of play.
The course is what it is - a semi-private/semi-muni community golf course. I recommend it for anyone who just want to play a fun round of golf.
Need cold refreshment
I suggest to putting a refrigerator , cooler or cold drink machine in the pro shop to sell water or gaterade
Relaxing Round
Relaxing round. Course improvements noted - ball washers installed. Not perfect, but a good course and great value close by my home.
