Links at Challedon

I thought the staff was very friendly. The course itself was in very good condition. It offered a good challenge. It was a pleasure to play there. I hope to play there again soon.

I've always liked playing here and still do. Just needs some minor work done here and there, but overall, still a nice course.

Nice course. Good layout. Got backed up on back 9...could have used a Marshal to push slow groups along. People really need to learn to play "ready golf" and speed up when necessary. If you're hitting shots in the weeds/woods on most holes and spending a lot of time looking for them you need to just a) drop a new ball and continue or b) spend more time on the range to become more accurate!

I thought the course provided a diversity of play, some flat and open holes and others more of a mountain type of course. The course was fair, enjoyable. and in pretty good shape. My round was shortly after many inches of rain and yet we were able to have carts on the course.

The afternoon I played the course had tournament start at 4:00. We started our round at 1:50 and barely made it to the 10th hole when the tournament was to start. There was inadequate course management to establish an reasonable speed up play.

The greens roll true and were in great shape. Likewise the fairways were well maintained with minimun divots. Bunkers were full of rocks making it difficult to pay out of bunkers without fear of damaging club.

Played on 4/20/13. Payed 69 dollars. Green were the worst I ever seen. I seen bad fairways better than these greens. If the course was not in shape, lower the cost. Next day went to Gettysburg links. Course was in excellent shape. Will never go back to this course.

The greens were HORRIBLE!! Not worth the money at all. We played Links at Gettysburg next day and that was beautiful and cheaper. Would not recommend to anyone unless it improves.

Nothing bad to say about the course. Looks like they have solved issues with the greens. My disappointment stems from the fact that the starter sent a very slow foursome with no Tee time out in front of us even though we were on time and ready.
Turns out the foursome was not in any hurry and had no concern for their pace. We played the front in 2.5 hours and the back in 85 minutes! I had to call the manager in the clubhouse twice and complain before we played through. I would never pay full price for this course. $40max.

Liked the variety and design of holes. Greens and fairways in generally good condition except for one or two holes.

The course was dry and brown with many bare spots.

Round left me feeling blahhh. Pretty well kept, and some interesting holes. Not exactly a links course as its very interwoven with the surrounding housing development. Staff was pretty rude and range balls were a total ripoff here @ $5 for 20 balls!!! If you ask me not worth the drive as the course takes forever to get to. Play your golf elsewhere.

I like playing this course. It isn't the most challenging course, but does provide a good mix of holes and good value for the money. It's also a course where I get to hit almost every club in my bag. The rough isn't very high and you can hit driver almost every hole. Greens were a little beat up and were rather slow.

Tee boxes grown over. Staff continued to water greens while we were hitting approach shots to the green and continued to mow the fairways directly behind us while we were in the process of hitting our next shots. Group in front of us was drunk and we called the clubhouse to report it, but they never sent anyone out to investigate or observe (loud, carts driven all over the course and on greens).

I always have good times on this course. The people are very nice, the course is in excellent condition, and it is never that crowded. I recently organized a tournament there. The pros and sales at the course were very helpful and accommodating. It made all of us girls feel appreciated as customers and we all enjoyed it very much.
