Course under alot of maintenance. Always a great track, I'm sure it will be again once maintenance and reconfiguring is finished
Brookside on a nice sunny day
Par 3 tees were under construction, forcing temporary tees that were really chewed up.
Greens were bumpy and sandy.
Winter play so the course was under some revamping and construction.
Great Value
Great course, especially for the price. Beautiful scenery. Could only get in nine holes but it was worth it. Didn't check out the restaurant or pro shop. Will be coming back in the summer.
Too expensive for March
I appreciate that they are working on the course,
but it was ridiculous to spend $70 to play a round in March with sandy greens and several temporary tees. One of the par 3s was literally 35-40 yards tops. This tee time should have been half price considering the conditions of the course. I really enjoy the course and will play again, but today was very disappointing.
Course condition
All par threes had temporary tees from uneven roughs which was a disappointment. But I’m sure the new tees will make a wonderful addition. Did not know that all 4 par three tees were being repaired.
Quirky and slow
Would have liked to know that all the par 3 tee boxes where being restored. Also no ranger and pace of play was horrendous
Great course
This was my first time playing the course. Great , interesting layout. Nice folks. Wish they had a course map and/or yardage book. This is more important for this course due to the number of blind shots and the close proximity of homes to some of the greens.
Greens reflected the time of year (winter).
Check your calendar
With the conditions being subpar, due to it being January, you would think that they would give your wallet a break. $70 for a round of golf, south of the bridge, in January? Clearly they are not interested in having many people play there during the off-season.
Love the layout
The course was great to play. Fun and challenging. However, the greens conditions were garbage, but I gotta let that slide due to the date played. Other than that, it was a very nice and fun course to play. I recommend you check it out.
Fun Round
This is a nice course that is really well maintained and is a really fun course to play. It is a very quirky course however, as there are a lot of holes that require you to shape the ball in a specific direction or have knowledge about where the hole goes. For a second round, it would be much easier to approach these holes, knowing that it is going to turn a certain way. Definitely not a driver course (only hit driver twice, which might not be a bad thing) but it was a lot of fun. Would go back and play again 100%
