Awesome value and challenge
I was impressed by the conditions and layout of the course! The conditions were great and price was right. The layout is close together and lots of OB so i would not recommend for a beginner but mid to low handicapper would love it. There was a lot of slow play on a weekend so i would try on a week day.
Great day of golf even though we were behind guys that constantly were searching for balls
Staff is fantastic, course was in great shape only bad thing was there is ZERO water on the course and the refreshment carts were not on the course. It was a very warm day and we ran out of our own water by the 6th hole and there was no where on the course to get any other than sending one of our foursome back to the club house which we wound up doing. Not sure why the water stations do not have water in them. It would be greatly appreciated!
Dehydration
I cannot believe there were no water jugs anywhere on the course and not even a bev cart to capitalize on it. It was 85 and scorching out… will not come back
Impressed!
We live local and this was only the second time we played this front nine holes. We were bery impressed by the condition of the greens and the bunkers. The greens were near perfect (and we spend winters in Florida on a very nice private course) so we are used to good conditions. The improvement in the course from last year is noticeable. Planning on doing 18 next week. Great value if you are a senior and live in town.
Excellent condition
Course was in great shape, fast greens, immaculate fairways. Green complexes were all perfect. Play here and play often.
Great Course that needs refreshments
Great course but there was no opportunity to get water or any refreshments. We started at 2:00pm. The restaurant attached to the course was open then but by the time we took the turn everything was closed. And the outside vending machine wasn't working. They need to improve their offering.
Always a pleasure
Good test of skills.
Front 9 warms you up for some of the more interesting holes in the area. #9 and #15 are challenging holes I look forward too. I will go back again and again.
Olde Scotland Links
This is our "home course" now that we are done with the Private Club scene. Olde Scotland Links is just that - a links course - with tees available for every level of golfer. Especially attractive on our course are the greens! Plenty of speed and in beautiful condition after being aerated a few weeks ago. Stay out of the fescue and this course will be very enjoyable. Please fix your pitch marks and rake the bunkers!
