Very good layout
Course is in excellent shape. People real friendly. We were at hole 7 when the starter.said that pace was going to be slow to finish. He said we could do the front 9 again if we wanted.We did that and finished before the foursome that was in front of us earlier. It was a great day.
Tight but gets better
Had a great time playing this course. Played it with a brand new driver. First few 7-9 holes play very tight but it opens up pretty well by 7/8th hole. Had an absolute blast on the course. There was an incoming thunder storm that missed us and the staff was great about letting us know at the turn we were good to keep playing since the storm would miss. Look forward to playing again.
Nice course
With all of the recent rain I expected the course to be soggy but it was not. Fairways and greens were in great shape. It's a very nice course.
One of the Best Values Around
Olde Scotty is a muni, for which Bridgwater should be proud. The layout is deceiving; seemingly wide open on the front nine, but with some water here and there to keep it interesting, (never mind the wind for which it is susceptible to). The back nine is a challenge, with each hole having its own difficulty, with the exception of 16 and 17.
The staff here are incredibly nice and helpful. I can’t emphasize that enough - a real plus! The prices are very good, making the value of playing here, almost incomparable.
The only somewhat negative is the greens are still quite slow and have been all season. They are in good shape, just slow.
Anyway, I highly recommend this course - always a fun day.
Good course
I have at Scotland Links many times it is always in good condition and sometimes in great condition . I think it is Avery goog course but could be more consistent condition.Also I’m a old fellow with bad knees and I was stunned they did cart paths only on a hot dry day and not a puddle or soft fairway to be found it made round very tough.
Price problem
So I payed 299$ for a hot deal offer only to get to the course and find out it was 208$ for the foursome at the pro shop? How come I was charged so much extra when I was supposed to be saving money by prepaying. So
Basically paid 299 online but would of only have to pay 208 if I just booked at the course.

Wide open!!!
Nice track. Stretches almost 7,000 yards from tips but very open, so bombs away! Unfortunately many tees and greens sort of overlap so heads up as errant tee shots can be dangerous. Overall nice layout in fantastic condition and would recommend.
