Chicopee Country Club

This course is a bit of a ride, but well worth it. It is in great shape, with ongoing maintenance and improvements. Fairways are like walking on carpet, greens are fast and in excellent shape, will test your putting skills.

Course payout is great, dogleg right/left, some blind shots, very little water, shot selection is key and forces you to think on the course.

Great challenge and will be back to play again.

Course and staff were great. There was a tournament this day, which slowed us down however it was still a good day! Can't be the track and the conditions.

Weather forcast called for rain all day. We got lucky and did not see any rain until we got to the 18th Tee box. There was hardly anyone on the course (Weathermen scared everyone away) Course was in great shape and we had a great day of Golf!!!!

I played with the Safari Golf Club. One of the best courses of the year as far as conditions go. Tees and fairways in excellent condition. Greens looked good but putted rather slow, could be this time of year they are not cut as short. The staff was friendly and helpful as always. Simple pub food but pretty tasty.

Played this course with The Safari Club from W. Massachusetts. Very impressed with overall conditions. Played more like a private club!! Course in pristine condition...people who run it are extremely welcoming.

Excellent course. Excellent shape. Downhill puts were very fast. Up hill puts slow. A few hidden greens from the T's. Fun place to play.

I am always amazed when I play a muni that is in fantastic shape. Kudos to the staff for such a fantastic day. I played with my friends in the Safari Club and the consensus was "what a fabulous course in fantastic condition!"

Well groomed generous fairways, Large tees and moderate greens, friendly staff, very accommodating to approx 130 golfers.

Played with the Safari Club today (10/12) and had a great experience as usual. The course was in great condition tee to green. Staff was welcoming and very helpful and the grounds crew was out over seeding and improving the condition of the course. A municipal course that rivals the private courses.

I grew up playing this course, sneaking on the back to play a hole or 6 in the evenings when I couldn't afford greens fees. Coming back and playing this week and playing it again brought back tons of fond memories, and I couldn't believe what great shape the course was in, some great improvements to the course. Except for the 12th hole which is now a par 3 instead of a 4? Greens where great, course looked great. Everything about it was fantastic I would of paid more to play honestly. One of the best courses in the area.
