Chicopee Country Club

Several holes are pretty difficult if you don't hit it long. There were a few easy ones to help make up for the hard ones. The course was in excellent shape. The only negative was the starter let the guys I was playing with out about fifteen minutes early! The starter gave me a ride out to catch up with them at the second tee. So, I was very rushed and only played 17 holes.

Conditions are excellent. Greens and fairways were very nice. Great layout. Nice staff.

Greens were great fairway good .The Bev. cart girl was there when you needed her.She was very helpful. Great day ! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.A credit to the organization. I would recommend this course to all without reservation. Will play again soon.

This course is always in great shape, challenging greens and some blind shots, it is a good mix.

We had great weather, the course was busy but moved along, back nine we had some backup, overall good enjoyable round.

I recommend you try it, you will be back.

Three of us played. One a member of Wahconah CC. All of us loved this course. The layout is very nice and challenging to any good golfer. One of the nicest choices you can make for a wonderful round of golf. On top of that, GolfNow offers very good tee times and prices.

I found the course to be in excellent condition. I have not played it in at least 15 years. I was very impressed with the overall condition of the course being late summer.

If you're from the Springfield area you probably already know about this place. if you're from closer by Boston you do not, but you need to. This course was BEAUTIFUL, in incredible condition, greens were awesome, beautiful bent grass fairways, etc. We had a lot of wet weather but course took the rain very well so never worry about wet conditions. Staff is very friendly and concerned with you have a great experience.

Very nice layout, very fair and all the challenge you want. I'm a single digit handicap and it was very challenging for me. From the tips it is sneaky long.

Greens were fast, fairways nice, pace of play was on the slow side, waiting on every shot from 6th on.

Had a great time on a beautiful course.

Everything was great except we had a very hot and humid day which took it's toll by the end of the round.

Would refer and also play this course anytime.

The course was in great condition great layout .Greens were rolling great.Best greens I have played in western-Mass this season.

Interesting enough and not easy to score here. Need a challenge? Conditions are good for Western Mass. I believe most players will score 3-4 strokes above your handicap, I did.

I grew up in Chicopee, so knowing about the great value of the Chicopee CC was no secret. It has been and still is one of the better value tracks in Western Massachusetts. In the past few years the city has made changes, regarding the employees and the management, which was an essential change for financial and competitive reasons. From what I see, the improvements were well worth it. I can see where the grounds people have made good efforts to keep the turf, tee-to-green in very nice shape for a municipal course. Chicopee CC remains one of the better values for golf in the Pioneer Valley. Hopefully, the city can find more money to clean up some of the outlying areas, as well as along the cart parts. As for the bar / food, I did not eat there but did find the bar drinks to be non-competitive - compared to a muni course like the Ledge, in South Hadley. A minor issue, since the main attraction is an interesting, challenging golf course. Always a track I recommend to people new to the area.

Are rolling fast and true . One thing this course must work on is the bunkers . They are starting to put new sand in some of them . The rough is thick and tall . Should be cut to a reasonable length . Almost impossible to find your balls when in the rough . Will definitely play there again .

This is the second time I've played this gem. The course is well maintained and designed. Conditions are definitely a notch or two better than a good municipal tract. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'll look forward to returning whenever possible.
